Would you buy Lukaku this summer?

Same can be sad about Lukaku. Also, you are assuming that our management is competent. As I said, I won't be surprised if we end up renewing that fat fuck, hopefully I'm wrong
Exactly. Is it against the rules to announce a 2-years long loan? Then that might be a good reason for not announcing it ahead, officially speaking ;)

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter want to keep Romelu Lukaku and will meet Chelsea directors to discuss the striker’s future in March.
The Belgian striker returned to the Stadio Meazza on loan last summer but has been struggling with injuries this season, starting only five games across all competitions and scoring two goals.

Nevertheless, according to Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri want to keep ‘Big Rom’ at the club in 2023-24 and, at the same time, Lukaku does not want to return to Stamford Bridge.

The Serie A giants expect to extend the striker’s loan for a lower fee than what they paid last summer, €8m plus €3m add-ons.
Ideally, according to Gazzetta, they’d like to keep the player for half of that amount and the mediation of Lukaku’s lawyer Sebastien Ledure will be crucial for a positive end to the negotiations.

According to the report, Inter have already spoken to the player’s representative in view of the meeting with Chelsea. The two clubs will likely discuss the striker’s future in mid-March, most likely after the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 between the Nerazzurri and Porto.
Lukaku owes us, let`s hope he will be able to repay without Pintus & Conte.

Sky Sport Italia report that the Nerazzurri feel that the indications from the Belgian in training and in his recent appearances are that he can finally find his best form over the rest of the season. Lukaku has yest to really show what Inter made such an effort to bring him back on loan from Chelsea in the summer.

However, the 29-year-old still has a few months in which to make an impact. According to Sky, the mood now has shifted to optimism, from the sense of uncertainty around the striker’s future that had fallen upon the Nerazzurri due to his lingering injury and fitness problems earlier on in the campaign.

The broadcaster reports that Lukaku is more determined than ever to show his best in an Inter shirt and prove that his future is at the club.

I honestly still had a bit of hope that he returned at least somewhere near 2 years ago level. But he loooks completely out of form, like a 52-year-old Dzeko

Some of his holdup play today was ok, else not worth the money.

I'm done with all these "his hold up play is good", "his contribution was good". Motherfucked was brought in to score goals, he has scored exactly 1 goal

We’re gonna sign him long term whether he comes good or not. This club will have issues finding a replacement for the position in defense let alone multiple positions. Correa is useless and out the door and Dzeko may not be able to walk by next year at his age.

And this guy isn't useless?

His hold up play isn’t even that good. It’s just that everything else about him is worse. Dzeko is infinitely better at holding up play.

Let's be honest. His hold-up play was really well last night! And that's all. But that's far from enough for this Inter. We already have one striker who misses a lot, and who hardly creates a chance for himself. We need another striker who can score more frequently, and who can create chances for himself. That was Lukaku under Content. I doubt that Lukaku could play like that again.

1) I think he lost his fire and will to prove himself as he had it the first time he arrived
2) Pintus probably know better how to prepare him.
3) Conte probably knew better how to use his strengths.

It definitely was, we can give that to Lukaku.

But someone like Petagna could do that for a 1/5 of a cost to the club.

It's the same story as his first stint here.

Goals weren't usually coming until some conditions were met and people were hyping up his "hold up play" which was always nothing.

VIDEO: LUKAKU AND BARELLA HAVE UGLY ON-FIELD ARGUMENT

There was a very tense exchange between Inter teammates Romelu Lukaku and Nicolò Barella during last evening’s game against Sampdoria.

It was still goalless after 40 minutes when a pass was misplaced in midfield and Barella waved his arms around in frustration.

This is hardly new behaviour, he often does that and has been criticised for it before, but this time it hit a nerve.

Lukaku was caught on camera very clearly shouting at Barella and waving a finger at him.
“Don’t do that, enough with these arms! Do not do that! It’s not good, it’s insulting, now stop!”

Barella must’ve said something in response, because the clip ended with Lukaku saying: “**** you, son of a bitch!”

That says it all about the "team chemistry".

The only highlight of his game after the first 10 minutes was shouting at Barella.

His "hold up play" is ass. It's nowhere near anything we should praise the highest paid player in the league for because some Petagna or some Beto could definitely do the same, he is at the moment the most expensive brick wall in the history. You kick the ball at him and it bounces back.

He was pocketed by Nuytinck ffs.

Very disappointed in him. This could turn into another month of shitty performances.

Since you guys love rumours, there were plenty of rumors last summer saying that we had agreed on a 2 year loan. Knowing our management's incompetence, I'm not suspicious about these rumors.

This has been my argument for months and sadly i am expecting Lukaku to stay for one more season. That's why there's still a discussion about keeping Lukaku, albeit with a discount. No sane person would even consider keeping Lukaku and his massive wages after the season he's having

It's nothing like the same story as his first stint. He scored in his debut, he had 3 goals in his first 4 Serie A matches (including a goal in the Milan derby) and 7 in his first 10.

if by some miracle Thuram chooses us instead of other logical options for him, send Lukaku's ass back to Chelsea and forget about him.
