Yeah I don't really get it why Lukaku needs Pintus to push him. He was with Pintus for fucking TWO YEARS. He didn't catch anything they were doing to keep him fit?

I really hope none of those rumors of Inter wanting to extend the loan are true. It doesn't make any sense given all the risks involved. Even if he slices his salary to half and loan fee is halved, it's still risk. We need all that money allocated to something more useful. This guy has played professionally for 15 years. His body might be done for starting striker duties.

This. His playstyle relies completely on his physical attributes. He doesn’t have the ability to be good late into his career like Dzeko, Giroud, Benzema, Lewandoski etc because he doesn’t have the skill or football intelligence.

Sad when he left, didn't want him back on the loan, sure as s*** don't want to renew on a loan or buy. Enough.

I think he doesn't have the skills, but he does have some football intelligence to be good for us. Some of his goalscoring passes for Lautaro from previous seasons are really brilliant.

He needs to leave, because we won't get that Lukaku back.

It's very difficult for one to expect his impact in the remaining stage of the season, because he played too few matches this season and you could clearly see that he lost that ball feeling.

Also I don't believe our management is stupid enough to extend his loan because things are very obvious. We should be looking for other solutions in our attacking department, and in the meaningtime hopefully Lukaku will at least try to make things easier for Dzeko and Lautaro by giving some contribution here and there.

Such a shame that our team in paper looks solid. There is too much quality in our line-up compared to other rivals, but practically we have been underperforming big time, even last season.

Is he still injured? What a waste, I wasn't expecting the same player we sold but Holy fuck has he been a disappointment

I just watched Dybala's cameo during Roma Genoa.
To think that we picked Lukaku over him...

Unbelievable how bad he is atm. Constantly making errors, also running away from the responsibility and everything else. I don't get how he is supposed to bounce back while he's performing like this. Yet another huge L by the management in this one.

Does any know, having read anywhere, if we can send him back or would there be some no doubt financial penalty for us? This is right up there with the worst transfers we've ever made.

Nah dude we need to wait for him.
He is going to save our season or some sh*t, I don't remember.

We need to get rid of him asap. Obviously cutting the loan short may not be a possibility, but we cannot resign him. He's never been the strongest mentally, and after those misses in the World Cup, I don't see him ever being anywhere near to what he was under Conte. Not to mention, Chelsea will still ask for a big loan and he will still ask for a big salary.

Not sure who it is in our management that has an obsession with him, but we need to let it go. We're not willing to offer some of our starters big contracts, but do so for Lukaku.

So not much changed aside from having a motivated team around him that did 95% of his work on top of the special treatment of the coach?

Funny many of us here saw it but those who get paid at the club didn't see it when they preferred Lukaku over the other options. Every year we throw lots of money and then complain about being broke.

Why are we focusing on goals when he hardly plays?
