Hardly similar. Milan sold Ibra for...20m, just enough to buy Balotelli lol.

While Lukaku's money is worth 4-5 very good players.
money is not what I meant, it's about replacement and continuity, Milan after Ibra, plus Silva was completely different and dropped down so much quality.

And with that comes the confirmation of the direction this club is truly heading in. Open your eyes people, yes the offer is very good but if the club is serious it will be rejected especially after the sale of Hakimi. But Suning gives no fucks, he’s taking this club down with him.

Only positive is some of the clowns on here will finally understand how crucial Lukaku was for us after the shitshow that’s about to ensue this season

As if Lukaku coming to Inter for big big money wasn't thanks to Suning. Appointing Conte, getting Barella, Hakimi ,etc. Everything we see around Inter wouldn't have been possible if their intentions were just to f*ck with us. They invested big time.
They are not totally clean but the way people are shitting on them is a bit unfair. You can't see them struggling this much and expect them to turn down 130M for Lukaku.

This is sad. Can we please just get a stadium built so we can hopefully stop this type of thing continually happening in the future? Personally I find it difficult to care about the football side of things when what matters is money, and we cannot make money from the San Siro. Or at least enough to sustain the club

I wouldn’t say invested big time, Lukaku only arrived because we sold Icardi. The rest are what I would describe as standard purchases for a club like Inter. And imagine going through all that work and pain we’ve endured to reach the summit and destroying everything in a few months after winning the league.

The stadium has got absolutely nothing to do with this. This is strictly on Suning

I wanted to fif majority people's reaction after I saw the news of the 1st offer and I am surprised tbh. For me, not even 130, I will accept the 100m + Alonso offer. Hell no, I will even take the 100m cash and give them back Alonso for their act of generosity. I am very surprised by this offers so much to the extent that I feel Chelsea are stupid. He is already 28 so we won't get any offers like this for him in the future, some will say things like "we are not a selling club" or "selling him will reduce our quality" But for me it's all the same, we've already lost quality when conte and Hakimi left, consequently our chances of winning anything tangible is almost zero. Now the expectation is top 4 and some think losing lukaku will undermine our chances but I don't see any difference tbh tbh, we've already got the taste of the scudetto so we should aim higher but eventually we are likely getting lower achievements so the taste of all these lower expectations than last season's won't be that fascinating regardless of what it is (CL or el). In a nutshell, after winning the scudetto I won't feel any better if we get CL above the el. So just sell him.
Besides, some of you might have been aware of the tendency to make another big sale (after hakimi)next summer due to our continuous financial issues, so this offer is an opportunity coz we may be forced to sell a more prescious asset (barella or bastoni) when we won't get anything valuable for lukaku due to him getting older.

One of the worst posts I’ve ever read on FIF and that’s saying something

Suning clearly aren't helping the situation, but a lack of income to sustain the club due to not owning our own stadium is definitely a contributing factor in us being a selling club. It is literally the only way forward. Or Serie A magically getting a EPL sized TV deal

Conte on 12M per year, Alexis on 7, Eriksen on 7, Vidal on 6.5, Barella, Sensi, Lazaro, Hakimi even keeping Lautaro all that kinda sound like investing big time in my book. Not long ago our transfer window was full of Trent Sainsburys and Cedric Soares. The investment that was conceded under Conte is huge in the post triplete era and especially in the Covid era imo. The last time we invested these kind of numbers was when Kia was pulling the strings with Joao Mario and Gabigol if I remember correctly and that was a one off transfer window.

Yeah, great money to spend on Zapata, Correa, Nandez and Bellerin. What a 'complete' squad we'll have.

If we were buying Vlahovic and SMS or something it makes a bit more sense, but we all know better.

Correa and Zapata have to be Marotta bluffs. Maybe it will be a surprise star player we dont necessarily need for life after Lukaku... SMS.
If the deal go through I'd like to splash 40mln cash for Locatelli. It's not that we need him anyway but it will be lovely to see the stupid look on Juve's faces when we snatch their main target for this merkato under their noses.

Guys, 130m for a 28 year old, heavy striker comes around the door once in a while. 130m for Lukaku is equivalent of making CHL 4 years in a row.. + his salary 15m a year..

I think we would have sold even if we did not have a crisis.

As I've personally said, on its own, I don't mind this prospective transfer. It makes a lot of sense. When the original discussion was had about who would we want our "sacrifice" to be, Lukaku was my choice. Between his age, his track record without Conte, and that he would fetch the most by virtue of being (perceived as) a world class striker, it made a whole bunch of sense to me.

But I lost all my sanity when they force-sold Hakimi before all this. If there had been any motherfucking patience with this club, the Hakimi transfer never would've had to happen. He should've been untouchable, alongside Barella and Bastoni. Hakimi frequently expressed his wish to stay at this club. What more could you want? And they forced him out the door anyway. Now, they're pretty much forcing Lukaku out the door as well. And at this point, if any of the rest of our Scudetto heroes want out, I hope they get their wish. They didn't fail their club; their club has failed them.
