You act like there was ever a scenario where we could only afford to keep one. We could easily have kept both.

What? What hallucination is this? I've never said we couldn't afford to keep one or the other. When we were trying to bring Lukaku back, it was Pavard vs Lukaku, my point here is just that a lot of people have been very very critical of him in the last year and some of us at the time said Lukaku was probably still our best chance at a consistent goalscorer, and we are now really suffering for having a main striker who probably can't even score with his wife let alone against a professional keeper

Obviously that was before the Juve stuff came out, but still.

Yea, he consistently scored under 15 goals a season past 2 years. Great stuff right there while the person you are slandering helped us cruise to Scudetto last season breezing through everyone. I hope you keep the same energy once Lautaro hits his form again.

I just don't get the point of your initial post. Any management team on this planet would prefer to have Lautaro to Lukaku. Four goals in the first ten league games from Lukaku doesn't change that.

It's still fucking early in the season, for all we know he's gonna break his leg next week or something. Lusting over 4 goals in 10 games is crazy, might as well say we should have signed Retegui, it would have been less ridiculous considering the guy is actually on fire.
