Did he not cancel the holidays to return early for training after the World Cup humiliation? Where's all the motivation to prove the haters wrong?

As I said before, we should send his fatass back to Chelsea right now and get Thuram. But knowing Inter, not only we don't know when to let go, we actually do the opposite and keep the one we should have let go when the time is right.

Not even once I read we don't intend to extend his loan; instead all we read is about extending his loan and even making it permanent for some ridiculous amount like 40m or something, even when the report say we are NOT happy with him! This is bordeline stupid and screams why we are in such a state financially and qualitywise right now.

The amount we got for him was too good for him and us. Not only we did not use that money wisely to reinforce the squad, we went on and flushed 50m of that down the toilet by getting Correa and him back again. This is sheer incompetence. No club that pretend to be as broke as Inter should make such badly estimated deals one after another.

We are not broke. We lack vision, and are shit at managing our money properly.

Just a reminder that we let one of our most influential players in Alexis Sanchez to accommodate the return of the self proclaimed king. I mean talking about missing out on Dybala is one thing, but Sanchez was a catalyst in trophies that people forget about.

And paid him to leave too. But yeah, we have NO money! How much we paid Alexis and Vidal to leave again?

Sanchez isn't solely on management though. Inzaghi has played a big part in his exit. Or you guys forgot Sanchez social media posts about lack of playing time? Inzaghi saw him as the last option in attack, he gave him consistent playing time only when Correa was injured and, the biggest disgrace of all, he gave a farewell at Meazza to fucking Caicedo instead of Sanchez.

Giving +30 years old lengthy deals on high salary is on management. They have to think ahead when giving older players such deals. Unless it's some elite players we should go for 1+1 kind of deal for old players, not 3 years deal rightaway.

Agreed but that's not what is argued here. The argument was letting Sanchez go was a big mistake. It wasn't when coach didn't rate him. You can't keep a player on a massive salary when coach sees him only as a last resort.

I don't consider letting go of Sanchez a big mistake. I consider the whole way of managing his deal from start to the end a big mistake. We should not let ourselves in such situations over and over again, specially when we act like broke.

And Limone said the biggest regret last season was away vs Liverpool. It was a dig at Sanchez who got a red that game.

I remember Vidal and Sanchez playing brilliant time wasting shenanigans in some match last season can't remember what it was.

Compare it to Lukaku's contribution to the time wasting yesterday.

You're not wrong here but the comment wasn't about Sanchez per se, but what he brings to the table. Lukaku has nowhere near the impact, even at his best at Inter he was no difference maker, just a... difference spreader.
