I always have mixed feelings about Lukaku. He’s a beast striker. Physically strong. And when he duels with defenders, you expect him to win it and he does rightly so, not to mention that he has kind heart as human being hence pleased by everyone in the room. But, his mental sometimes a problem. Doesn’t turn up at big games, gets easily angered on the pitch when his teammates off and don’t even get me started on the physical touch. So, let’s conclude that he’s good.. very very good but not all-around striker and still replaceable..

On the other hand, you have this enormous offer for him. 115m. Could help our club financially as we should really acknowledge how bleeding we are financially due the pandemic. And will make so much profit by selling him. We don’t get deals like this often and you certainly don’t miss opportunities like this. He isn’t young anymore, so he may be coming pass his prime time anytime soon. This weighs in here I guess, so you take it.

Now, the concern isn’t his sale but who will be his replacement (which I agree). Will he do any better than Lukaku with current circumstances (the rest of the squad, coach and his tactics)? We have several names on eyes. Zapata, Dzeko, or Vlahovic. Now, first it’s unfair to even think and analyze that one of these striker will fail miserably at Inter given what we have. It’s a gamble. Who knows if Zapata will improve or Dzeko still got his touch or Vlahovic shines even more under Inzaghi? Everything can still happen. But for now what we have is, a tangible at hand 115m which really is an offer you cant refuse.

1. Handanovic deserves LGI more than some players on LGI right now. I absolutely love Pagliuca, but Handanovic deserves it more.

2. How many times has an Inter player been the best player of Serie A in a season? It can't be more than 15-20 times, if that. I say put all those fuckers in LGI if any of them aren't already there, they fully deserve it. Including Lukaku.

The gap between the top European teams and us is fucking huge and it’s only getting bigger. With the way things are going this scudetto may well be our only piece of shining light in between years of absolute mediocrity so please don’t try to downplay this league title by acting like Inter is what it used to be and this is expected from us.
