Indeed, it's a great fit. Poli-tan Clearedatnearpostanobi
Speaking of rat-tails, our
old boy, Palacio, had an eventful game against Lazio. And when I say old, I mean it in all ways.
He made a great run to drag a marker with him to the near post, opening up space behind him for a cross and free header for Bologna's first goal. He scored the 2nd mess of a goal. The goalkeeper parried a shot which fell directly at El Trenza’s feet. With the keeper completely out of position and the goal completely open, Palacio chose
not to side foot it into the empty net from 9 yards, instead, inexplicably opting to control the ball, which he did with a horrendously heavy touch. Thankfully, he managed to slide in and bundle the ball into the net past Strakosha for a contender for whatever the opposite of the Puscas Award is. Then, finally he gave away a ridiculously stupid penalty in the 90th minute which Correa missed, still broken from his duel against Handanovic.
In the same match, Gazza Medel pulled back Correa in a hilarious last-man rugby tackle and was rightly sent off.
All-action performances from our legends.
