I don't think it is fair to judge him at Inter in any way. Never mind criticise the player.

Any1 noticed the update from transfermarkt following Inter shareholders meeting?

Robin Gosens transfermarkt showing that Inter will have to pay €27.4M for Gosens in 2023.:unsure:
That's a heavy price for a backup player.

So was it some obligation to buy thing with some options included or something? Or do we indeed need to pay all that? The schedule is also important, do we need to pay all that in first part of 2023 or latter part?

I honestly think it's more inter who want to sell him rather than Gosens wanting to leave. Sure he wants to play in Germany at some point. But none of these clubs he's been linked to are on par with inter in regards to prestige (and probably salary). Gosens doesn't seem like type of guy who would give up so easily on trying to prove himself at a club like inter.

Gosens is just average wing-back but good at finishing similar to Dumfries. Dumfries was good last season because we had Perisic who can beat defender and send dangerous ball to far post. Gosens will never work in this current Inter unless we find some good crosser RWB like Perisic or Candreva in January.

I agree that they are similar players, but Gosens is far superior to Dumfries in finishing.

Should be sold for more than what cost us. otherwise is better if he stays.
There are 3 teams in germany who want him

Fuck it just play Gosens on the right. Can’t be worse than Dumfries and it’s not like crossing is a big part of his game anyway.

GdS: Schalke are keen to sign Inter wingback Robin Gosens on loan in the January transfer window, but Inter would prefer to sell him outright.

With the kind of injury he's had, it's unfair to call him finished before it's been a whole year since his return.

Loaning him is a no go. We have no one on the bench. Not totally against losing 30-50% of what we paid for him to get him off the books but losing a player for half a season then getting them back worth less in a few months is something we need to stop doing.

I really hope we`re not selling him, at least not at this point. I would rather sell Dumfries for a big margin to be honest

I mean the time to leave was in the beginning of the season when he could have fought for his place in the national team.

Was it a dry loan only? Or perhaps option to buy?

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Schalke recently made an offer for Gosens, keen to pick up the German in January, but the player turned down their approach, wanting to prove himself at Inter.

The Nerazzurri would only consider a definitive sale and are not open to any loan offers for the 28-year-old.

Gosens believes the Inter move to be a once in a lifetime chance and he doesn’t want to let the opportunity pass him by, so he’ll be working hard to show his best in the second half of this season.
I have respect for Robin and root for him to get back at top level.

On the other hand there are Euros in a year and a half. I guess he'll try for the rest of this season here, and if he doesn't play more he'll finally leave.
