Difference is however Dimarco on the LWB spot is actually effective player for us, many times one of the most important players on the pitch for us.
DiMarco is our worst starter right now, you are watching our games?

worst starter? perceived worst starter - his attacking contributions are too important for us to bench him for being a defensive liability in most games.

I'd say Dumfries is easily our worst starter as far form goes. Just a body that runs up and down

DiMarco performances in October, average rating 6...Recap:
"Struggled at times defensively when he’s caught between two minds which a better team could and have in the past taken advantage of. Did well in attack as always.
Didn’t have a good day at all as Fiorentina identified his wing as the weakest link defensively capitalizing on it. Made good runs offensively but the timing and the understanding with team-mates off.
Continues to draw applause from the San Siro faithful for his now trademark diagonal cross balls but other than that the accuracy of his crosses were a bit off. Came off after suffering from cramps.
Didn’t have the best of games and shouldn’t have started as this was not a game that suited him at all, especially given that Inter needed wingback’s who are strong in the air, something he simply isn’t.
Other than one trademark diagonal cross-ball and a few crosses, he didn’t have much of an impact on the game offensively today. Has improved his positioning and work rate defensively a lot compared to start of season."

Ok, maybe Dumfries was worse but we have no better options there in tearms of quality. Fkn Inzaghi just doesnt give Gosens any fkn chance. Same thing was with Cunte and Eriksen.

Gosens and Dumfries are too similar IMO to play both at the same time, Darmian is used for defence, Bellanova is not used (lol)

For Inzaghi, Dimarco brings a lot to this attack, at the same time Mhiki also played a lot better (he is a constant menace in attack, which is what we need)

Not playing our best wingback is just insane for me. So Gosens and Dumfries cant play at the same time. It will cost us in the end.

Will it? We are having a good run of games right now, rather keep winning than play our best wingback - but he isn't the best wingman for what Inzaghi needs. He'll play Bastoni there before Gosens

Gosens is probably getting sold this winter or the upcoming summer

I don't think that Dimarco is so good actually. He was poor against Fiorentina. Salernitana and Sampdoria are bottom teams, so he didn't have much pressure there. I don't remember how he was against Sassuolo though, but we also got very narrow (lucky) win there. About Barcelona's matches - he was decent in the first one, and mediocre to poor in the second.
I prefer Gosens for more solid opponents and Dimarco against weaklings.

Yeah, well, I'm not a big fan of Dimarco either. But I can see why he is more important to Inzaghi than Gosens.

Here some praise for our wingbacks. Think he is spot on. Just sucks that Gosens cant fit in.

"Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, Zaccheroni hailed the manner in which the Nerazzurri’s two wide players give opposition defenses a hugely difficult problem trying to keep both of them quiet.

Inter have always been very reliant on their wide players for attacking impetus, under both Antonio Conte and now Simone Inzaghi.

Last season it had been Ivan Perisic and Dumfries who made life difficult for opposition defenders, whilst Matteo Darmian and occasionally Dimarco provided important depth and different qualities on the flanks.

This season, it looks to be Dimarco who has stepped up to take the place of Perisic as the first-choice option on the left.

The 24-year-old’s passing, deliveries, and all-around game have dovetailed well with the performances of Dumfries on the right, in the view of Zaccheroni.

“I get the feeling that the opposition defenses haven’t yet figured out how to defend against the constant threat and changes between the two Inter wingbacks, Dimarco and Dumfries,” he said.

“Inzaghi is using them a lot,” he continued, “and they’re getting a lot of joy, due in part also to the speed and precision of Calhanoglu who is always able to feed in one of the two.”

“Teams who defend with a back four get stretched out at the width by them and are vulnerable through the middle,” Zaccheroni noted, “whilst teams who defend with a back five get sucked into the middle.”

According to Kicker, Leverkusen, Eintracht and Gladbach are interested in a move for Gosens in January.

If I was him, I'd be willing for a new challenge. He has a few good years under his shoulder and remaining here doesn't look promising for his career. He may never be as great as he was in Atalanta day ever again, but at least he deserves more playing time and deserves another chance of reviving his footballing career.

Would let him go for a cent under his book value.
Yeah, it's time to move on while he still has value. Inzaghi refuses to use him and it's only going to make the situation more dire. I'm sure all those clubs are only interested in loans with obligations, ergo he'll be here until June.

No one.... you are asking a question like who will replace Gags on the bench.... some youth player not getting millions to never play. I am pretty disappointed in Gosen but then our coach benches Bastoni for garbage players as well
