Well, good to know there was a reason for the shitshow first half and the subsequent hauling off. I genuinely thought Inzaghi had decided to ruin this man’s mental state.
To be fair, that's what he did last year.

It's so sad that he seems like he's already turned off. To think he was the best left back in the league not so long ago...

He is good after coming in, I think his main issue is confidence. If he has some mistakes in a game he tries to prove himself, he makes it worse. Definitely needs more game time.

Looked out of sync when he came on but put in a good shift. Quality defensive contribution and running.

Thought it was his best showing for us thus far. I’d reward it with a start against Bologna, but Simone’s mind works in mysterious ways.

This guy deserves to play in better team. Team that plays modern football and is coached by competent coach.

In all honesty, he's not that convincing. You have no idea how much I appreciate Gosens' efforts but that's almost the only thing he could offer right now. He's way too average in many other aspects. You cannot focus your game on his flank because his technical ability isn't there yet. Otherwise he's great defensively and contributes a lot in tactical aspect but so does Darmian except that Darmian is still miles ahead of Gosens' offensively as well.

Took an example between them because they're slightly similar in term of game because Dumfries these days is a headless chicken and Dimarco is the only creative wingback we have atm.

He was our best player today, playing in terrible pitch. Was great against Porto too. Gosens is our best flank in terms of quality in our team, he proved that being best lwb for years in Seria A and proved in NT for Germany in Euro 2021. Totally underutilized in this shitty system we are playing under Italian hack. Playing this system while having snails in midfield and attack kills us. Dimarco is small potatoe like his stupid Italian coach that jerk off on him. And he is ideal for playing in team that play slow and boring football like Inter. Attacking football my ass, this is snoozefest.

Ciao Ragazzi,
I am now also here on LinkedIn!
I just feel like I have more to share than I do after the game on weekends in my role as a professional footballer at Inter Milan.
I think LinkedIn is just the right platform for that.

Instagram is all very well, but for really deep topics probably rather not the right channel.
I want to talk about topics I am passionate about, exchange ideas with people who inspire me, and at the same time I want to inspire other people. And thus to make the things heard that are really close to my heart.

I would like to talk about my very special journey to becoming a professional football player and why that was my inspiration for founding my "Träumen Lohnt Sich" foundation. I will report about projects of my foundation here as well. But I would also like to talk about sporting goals, successes and failures, or about psychology - an absolutely passionate topic for me - which is why I am currently in the final stages of my psychology studies.
I'm sure I'll also talk about my already published book "Träumen lohnt sich" or the children's book I'm currently writing. Just like my role as a ambassador for brands, my first experiences as a TV expert, my first steps as an entrepreneur or my role as a father.

As you can see, we have a lot to talk about! Looking forward to it.

Yours, Robin https://www.linkedin.com/in/robin-gosens-747873267/
His activities off the pitch are good, but they take a lot of attention, dedication, energy, and time, which definitely affects your performance as a footballer.

He's finally coming good. We had a great team whose only weakness was that it had no real LWBs. Now we have two serviceable LWBs, both around starter quality for a CL team. He's also a different profile compared to Dimarco, which is wonderful from a squad-building perspective

His interception and forward burst for the first goal is something Dimarco dreams of. I would always rate Gosens better than Dimarco because the former is 8 in everything while the latter is 9 in crossing, but are 5 in everything else. Even by considering Dimarco is more compatible with Dumfries, I would still start Gosens because he provides more and we are not fixated on Dimarco's crossing and hope for the best.

he’s just a more well rounded LWB than Dimarco. It makes sense to play Dimarco against teams that will sit back for his ball playing ability, but he doesn’t defend or break the lines like Gosens does.

It's nice that we could choose between both Dimarco and Gosens depending on situation, but none of them are the ideal kind of player for the starting line-up. Dimarco has his defensive flaws even though he made a slight improvement in this area (but still too vulnerable), meanwhile Gosens' offensive game has A LOT to desire. But I give him credit for his positioning though. It's just his execution is pretty damn average.

Not sure if we'll ever see the beast mode Gosens ever again. Normally he'd have to perform in a better environment to regain his form because our team is way too static, wasteful and lacking desire to win but it is what it is. I'd still choose Dimarco over Gosens at any circumstance because he brings more creativity and probably stamina as well. Both hard working players but Dimarco seems more explosive and smoother in the game IMO.

All due respect but if you think Dimarco is better than this guy you're out of your mind

Dimarco is better in different things. And fits to our style most often better.

If we start to utilize Gosen's strengths more, he might end up being better for us.
