He cant do much because Dumfries is same weapon like him.

Give Cuadrado or Hakimi. I am sure Gosens Will shine.

Or maybe German NT RB..

I was waiting Perisic on the right and Gosens on the left, but Perisic was gone.

Gosens is one of the best Left Back in positioning, heading, and finishing.

Not dribbling or crossing like Perisic. Let alone Pace merchant

He started and bossed with the German NT.

I agree with your statement but it’s not easy to make the German Nt then be one of the best players on it
He needs great rwb or playmaker(Papu Gomez, Iličić or Dybala) to shine. We lack that.

I mean obviously we’re still in preseason, but I’ve been seeing more and more reports suggesting inter are somewhat nervous about him. What a colossal misuse of funds if we give up on him early.
You have a nice avatar right there, is that our future colpo di mercato

Gosens was a borderline world class 'system player'.

How good he is outside of Gasp's system is inconclusive.

However, I see no reasons to freak out yet. We do have a system here and Dumfries is miles better than whoever Atalanta had at RWB.

Gosens needs to stay fit first and foremost. If he can play consistently he will contribute even if it’s not at the same rate that he did with Atalanta. We will figure out how to use him. We will still suffer from creativity on the wings however.

I wasn't commenting on how effective or great he is. I am just saying that Gosens isn't some leader that will change the game. But if there's an effective system and he has a role, he can execute it to a great degree.
It also requires a learning curve, which he got a headstart to. I'm not really worried but if people are expecting a goal machine we may not see that unless the system in place puts him in scoring situations.

Our system does put him in a position to do that.

Unfortunately for Robin he needs to fill in a massive pair of shoes because Perisic was also a leader.

Downgrading from Perisic to Gosens is probably what I'm most nervous about this season. Perisic has that individual spark that allows him to change the course of a match. Gosens is more of an opportunist.

This season is really going to hinge on Lukaku. If we go back to getting 45 goals from our strikers, we won't need much more from our wingbacks other than quality service from the flanks. If Lukaku looks like he did with Chelsea last season, we don't have anyone else in the XI who can step up and put 10 goals in - aside from maybe Gosens.

Yea but we need proper wingbacks to help our strikers to score. Our midfield also lack that. We need players to assist strikers. We were better last season cause we had Perisic. Now we have Gosens who has physical and also mental problem cause of all injuries he had last two years. And we are to lose Dumfries leaving with Bellanova and Darmian. Thats not good enough. Look at fkn rube, Chiesa, Cuntdrado, DiMaria, Kostić is coming, all of these players are better service to striker then any of our current players. Of course we are in deep shit and season is right there.

I hear you, but also Perisic only turned into a beast at wingback last season and arguably the last few months with Conte. He did a great job filling the attacking void left by Lukaku and Hakimi, but it wasn’t like we had excellent wingbacks under Conte other than Hakimi (who had his own growing pains). Still I am most concerned with the wings at the moment, especially if Dumfries is sold.

If we sell Dumfries there's no wingback considering Gosens state.

If Milan could win a title with Calabria at RB I’m not concerned about Gosens even if he was playing on a broken leg.
