Not that I agree with his rankings, but it's a very nice video. I'm puzzled as to how Ronaldo, Redondo, Messi and Mendieta didn't even make this guy's mentions list. I'd even argue Ibrahimovic belongs there from recent players.

Top 10 most elegant players, probably from 1990 and on because I cannot see the names of Cruyff, Beckenbauer, Rivellino or more recent (80s) players like Zico, Maradona, Platini, Butragueno, Van Basten and Francescoli. Digging past to the 60s is going to expand this list by too much even if it's just a couple of mentions per decade.

Anyway, enjoy, it's good enough :D

With the passing of Zamparini, I feel that this is a suitable one:

It's in Italian but it allows auto-translated subtitles which usually are decent enough.

He was always very underrated, also due to the fact he was in a team full of stars.
And always bailed them out. He was like a flashy version of the Julio Cruz effect with a Recoba-like fitness level

This game pops up in my head every now and then, especially when I think of loser coaches. It has Mazzari, AVB, and Di Matteo. I remember watching the 2nd leg on TV absolutely shocked that Napoli fucked up their (relatively) comfortable lead. Then we go on and hire Mazzari 2 seasons later, ignoring the huge fucking red flag this tie was.

It's crazy how every little thing went right for Chelsea during that CL run. Or should I say everything went wrong for their opponents?

Due to the news on Pelé, all lights are on older World Cups. So 1970, Brazil being considered the best team of all time, it only makes sense to recall on the best game of that tournament. And possibly the greatest World Cup game ever. Which didn't involve Brazil.

With the goal he scored against Frosinone, Hakan became the Turkish football player who scored the most goals in Seria A history (37 goals)

For many years this record belonged to Şükrü Gülesin, who played for Palermo and Lazio between 1950-1953.

So, do you know who made Gülesin play in Italy ?

Guiseppe Meazza !

Giuseppe Meazza becomes Beşiktaş coach in March 1948. When he returns to his country, he speaks highly of Şükrü Gülesin and Bülent Esel, whom he coached at Beşiktaş. First Gülesin is transferred to Palermo and then Esel is transferred to SPAL.

Gülesin and Esel are still among the top 3 Turkish players who have scored the most goals in Seria A history.

European Champions Cup (pre Champions League tournament) 1990-91 [almost] all goals. I love this channel :)

Fun fact about the final. Dragan Stojkovic had moved to Marseille the summer after the World Cup of 1990 from Crvena Zvezda and was out injured for almost the netire season. He wasn't fully fit for the final but he was on the bench and got to play later on. He asked the coach not to use him as a PK taker as he couldn't bear kicking one against his former team.
