I actually agree, I’m all for starting Asllani against Empoli, but I do think starting him in CL is putting him out in the deep a bit too early.

But seeing how stringent Inzaghi and how little flexibility he played with his players so far in this season, it should come at no surprise that Hakan out = Asllani in. Barella out = Frattesi in. Mkhitaryan Out = Klaassan/Sensi in

Despite being one of the people who whinnying about Asllani's limited playing time, I would do the same. This game is very important and Asllani defensive work is not so good. I'd definitely will start him vs Empoli, but not against Real S.

I wanna see us playing without a Regista, I don't know what it will end up like, but too much changes I guess, nor should we fear Real S that much:

Calhanoglu is a massive loss. Hopefully nothing serious.

I wonder as well how much his injury changed Inzaghi's plans for this match. If Hakan was fit I could see Inzaghi rotating a bit more, maybe starting Pavard. With Calhanoglu out we lose his insane defensive work rate so maybe the plan is change as little else as possible.

Huge opportunity for Asllani too, hope he doesn't crumble.

I had to do a double take cause I thought Universe wrote this for sure.

With that being said I disagree. Frattesi to the bench and Asllani with the regular first trackers imo. It’s time to see what we’ve got.

I expect mostly same setup as derby other than that and maybe Arnautovic/ Pavard ahead of Thuram/ Darmian.
