I'd keep him for 7 mln, instead of getting that Canadian winger for 15 mln.

He did well today in his sub role against Roma. Still have bad taste in that one dreadful match earlier but I'm starting to reevaluate my opinion on him. Keep doing good things.

He was really good against Roma, he didn’t reinvent the wheel or anything but he was like a different player from what we’ve seen so far.

I need to see it again but I think he outpaced Spinazola at one point which is saying something.

Spinazzola doesn’t look like the same player that was so good at the Euros a few years ago. An Achilles rupture would do that sadly.

That being said, Bellanova didn’t look out of place out there. His pace could be useful later on in games.

Doing okay especially when we need to execute breakaway. Two things which intrigue me are: his football IQ is not high and he cannot utilize his speed to beat his marker. Only time can tell if he can sort them out.

He became even more confident after the goal. He needs to improve a lot of things in his game, but I think we definitely shall buy him for 7 mln.

Did fairly well, kinda dangerous with his passes and dribbling deep in Inter's own box, but got away with it. Overall, pretty decent given his limited playing time through the season.

Not convicing for me.

The shoot lead to goal is just pure luck
That wasn't a shot though. It was pass to Acerbi (iirc), who was between two defenders. If the Sassuolo's player didn't touch the ball, Acerbi would have done it. But I'm pretty sure he wouldn't score it.

Just the fact that he has pace makes him useful given the makeup of our team (no pace).

I actually don't think he's too bad and his last few appearances were encouraging. Still a lot to improve on, and I feel one of his main issues was nervousness. I think it was the home game against Empoli where he came on and looked so nervous. He looks better in recent games.

The question is can we find someone better for 7 mln? Maybe we can sign Singo for free, but he is not the same player after the injury, and he will demand a bigger salary. I think we shall get Raul permanently and buy an experienced replacement for Dumfries. Or bring Hakimi back, if there is a chance and we can afford it.

This dude panics whenever he gets the ball deep in our half and he’s facing our goal. He needs to work on that. I remember Dumfries having to adjust as well but he wasn’t as spastic. It seems like an experience thing, Raoul simply hasn’t played a lot of top level football despite having some fantastic physical gifts (speed & height).

You simply can’t consistently dribble out of precarious situations, you have to learn to play a blind pass. Even swinging the left boot and hoofing it towards Lukaku is a preferable outcome to giving the ball to the opposition team in your defensive third. Conte used to have our wingbacks do it all the time.

With that being said a lot of what I see in his game can be ironed out with more playing time and experience. He does have some technical quality and his physical attributes if used correctly could be devastating. I understand if the club’s opinion is he needs to learn elsewhere but I would keep him unless we have an obvious upgrade coming in.

That kind of game / plays is the reason why Italian coaches usually don't use younger players. :D

Bellanova seems to try to that "dribble through the middle" once in a while, I remember him trying that before few times.
