2018 France was their squads peak. France is still strong now but they're very beatable. I'd also argue Croatia are better now than they were 4 years ago. My point is it's not so black and white to say France/England will win. All 3 teams left play better tactically than England, and Croatia/Morocco have been playing well this tournament. It's still very open.

With that being said I'll take anything over an England win. Life is short and I don't want to hear about it for the rest of my life.

Speaking from experience with my national team i can assure you this isn't the case at all. For these nations even passing group stage is already considered a huge success and anything more is just a bonus. These guys are already considered heroes back home and there's zero pressure on them.

Macedonia isn't the reason italy aren't there. Should have never been in the qualifiers. Their inability to beat Northern Ireland x1, Bulgaria x1 and the swizz x2 is why they aren't there.
