I'm usually away on work trips Goddamnit -_-" I'd rather be sitting in my lazy couch at home, anyway of the week, twice on Sundays. It's gonna be a honeymoon this time though. See, I had to even wait for 6 months before I can take some time off work so stop breaking my balls. ;)

Alex, we were gonna stay somewhere in Ramblas. Go to La Bocqueria and stuff. So I guess we should scupper the plans? :( Do you think this is gonna continue on for a long time?

Who knows... i guess September will not be over, elections are in November more or less. But you have plenty of cheap and good hostels DOWN Ramblas, Barceloneta zone (near the beach), Eixample zone, Vila olimpica zone (all touristic), the zone in which are the manifestations is only a little territory compared from what the city is.

Funny....did this even make the news?

Protests in Spain...no biggie.
Protesters in France, killed by their own army...No biggie.
Protests in the Syria, spurred on by outside mercenaries killing people and media blame the government for 'squashing' peaceful protests.

Alex....will be very hard for this topic not to get into political discussions....

It's because Syria has the Muslim problem.
