What we should do is target young talents from foreign/lesser know leagues and develop them. We also should aim for the drop outs from PL teams and topclubs. I really doubt all of these Darwin, Julian, Enzo type of signings are gonna succeed. You don’t get time anymore with these crazy spenders. We should be ready for some cheeky loan deals :)

We better secure the Free transfer player soon.

Singo on Free so that we can cash out Denzel in next window.

Pereyra for 5gag

Vicario certainly is the next big thing (and perhaps already the best in the league alongside an injury-free Maignan), but I have Di Gregorio down as the second-best Italian keeper right now.
He's also one of our Primavera boys and 'only' 25.

I usually try to keep an eye on the progress of our youngsters and i was always impressed with this guy.

Wherever Inter sent him (whether it was Serie C, B or now in A) he was always a starter. Always. This shows consistency and a great work ethic. I was surprised no one ever talked about this guy while there were lots of promotion and links with a return to Inter about players who had done far less than him. I guess he doesn't really have a good agent. But he worked hard from lower tiers and now he's a starter in Serie A benching Cragno, who was linked with all the top teams till last season. It's impressive and i really like him.

Inter Primavera graduate Wilfried Gnonto scored after less than a minute to put Leeds United ahead in their Premier League clash with Manchester United
The 19-year-old Italian forward joined the English outfit from FC Zurich in the summer transfer window in a deal worth around €4.5m. After a slow start to life with Leeds, Gnonto quickly proved his talent and had netted three goals in 12 games before tonight’s clash at Old Trafford.

Gnonto was quick off the mark against Manchester United, playing a beautiful one-two before drilling the ball into the bottom corner, putting Leeds 1-0 up after just a minute.

Was trying to post in his player thread but it seems that we currently don`t have such thing.

If I were in the Inter's management, I would hire Dortmund's youth academay manager at all costs, to find the best talents.
We need youth development more than anything but instead we are looking for fucked old players like Dzeko, Acerb, and etc and meanwhile we are fucking constantly complaining we don't have money to spend on players. We can't have our cake and eat it too.

That's what Arsenal thought when they hired Mislintat but it doesn't work like that. It's rarely a work of one person, it's an entire system that makes their transfer strategy so successful.

Even if we hired Michael Zorc, who was their sporting director from 2005 till last year i doubt he would have a similar success at Inter.

The crazy thing with our strategy is while we have become a selling club we don't act like one. We need to make profits from sales every summer which means we need to sign players with resale value. But we also want them to be proven. Sorry but you can't have both. Either you take calculated risks with unproven players or you just sign experienced players with no resale value. If you wait for the promising youngsters to prove their worth then they will simply become out of reach. And that's where you need a great scouting network.

As said before by me and several others members for an Youth Academy to work the whole system in Italy needs to change. From amateurlevel to Serie A, the way coaches are trained will have to change, but above all, the mentality of the Italians in general will have to change. So don't fire a coach after 3 games because he loses once. No coach is going to develop youth players in this way because he doesn't know if he will still be there next week. Every coach has to live in the ''now'' in Italy and then you play it safe.

My point is we must have more investment on youth academy so that we would be able to use/sell our youth talents when the the right time comes. And when I was talking about Dortmund academy manager, I meant building a system not rely on one specific person.

I know it's not easy and it's NOT a short term job and it needs lots of times and efforts.

What's our strategy right now? Selling the club to an arab rich? Buying stars to have a rival team? Investment on youth?

Italy and serie A is fucked up and we need to survive and consider new strategies to guarantee us a more stable financial status.

He will come to Inter as 2nd goalkeeper at 34 years old

People really don't understand culture in organizations is a thing and that habits form it.

Exactly. Inter is a club which always aims for victory, in every competition.

This is great and all and we all agree to it. That's what Inter should do. This is the status of the club. But jerseys aren't going to win matches by themselves. You also need to have the right tools to do it.

When you need to make substantial profits from sales every summer, when you have to lose at least one core player every summer, when you can't keep your best players, when you don't even have the budget to properly replace them then you simply don't have the tools to fight for important trophies. Not realistically. And unless we have an ownership change situation isn't going to change anytime soon. At this rate Scudetto core will be gone in 1-2 years. Then what? Where are we going to find the money Suning demand if we don't add value to the squad? It isn't functional to go on the way we do.

As long as Suning are around we need to figure out the best way to operate under the terms they set. And it pains me to say it because i hate the model, but turning into a selling club, with everything that entails, is the only way forward.

But that's only half of Suning terms. :D

I mean, yeah, they are setting up this club to be a selling club but at the same time they want us to keep winning trophies. They are making it extremely hard for the management and the coach. Because the squad building needs to be based on these two things.

But we're not a selling club. That's the irony...
