Dude was pure class last night, surprised no one wrote shit here about his performance. Motm easily for me. Also, a big part of why asllani looked acceptable in regista role, he helped a lot in that area as well. We have a huge fuckin privilege to have him basically as a bench option. With that amount of technical talent in his feet, he would be playing as a starter in many top level teams around europe.

Also worth mentioning is his defensive contribution, which was the biggest question mark before he arrived. He seems fine there as well.

Agree, this guy is great! We have a player that can fill Mhiki shoes when he's done.

The great thing about having all of these talented midfielders is that when they're on, they can interchange positionally.

I'd love to see Inzaghi get the team to a point where all three midfielders can play all three roles. Barella can do it. Zielinski fits this mould as well and can improve defensively.

I still think his game isn't THAT convincing yet, despite of pulling these glimpses of brilliance every here and then. No doubt he's a great solution to have in midfield, but as someone whom was balling hard before a few years, he really needs to improve significantly to redeem himself.

He needs to start against Como aswell.

Asllani is deputy Hakan and Frattesi needs to play in order to fetch us more money.

I have expected more than Zielinski. He looks very good on occasions but he looks completely lost sometimes.

No idea but he played as "box-to-box" under Sarri and he was really good. He's just not good yet.. playing in Hakan's position, his positioning looked awkward and he barely asked for the ball. I don't want to see him in Hakan's position again, neither Aslani or Zielinski fits in Hakan's shoes. We desperately need Hakan's vice asap.

Zielinksi’s grace period is slowly running out for me. I want to see him play more, but I also expect a lot more from him.

Both on and off the ball, he’s been completely incapable of imposing himself so far. His best games have been covering for Hakan, where he’s looked adequate, but he’s been insufficient playing on the left and completely abysmal playing in Barella’s position.

I fully expect Mkhitaryan to slow down in the final third of the season, but Barella and especially Hakan will also struggle to sustain their fitness. We desperately need Zielinksi to step up and offer at least 70% of the output that the starters offer.

Unlike Asllani and Frattesi, he’s actually shown that he has the skills to do it.

The biggest problem with Piotr is his lack of pace, but that holds true for most of our players, soo....

He has always been a creative box to box. He always had a regista next to him to help with build up play. First Jorginho, then Lobotka. He has never played as a regista. I never got how people argued on this forum he could be vice Hakan and regista suited him more than Mkhi's position.

Wishful thiking i guess.
