Remember we have Lukaku, i don't want to hear another Lukaku interview. Imagine Lukaku crying that he wants to go back to Chelsea
It will be for one year anyways. What makes you think we have the money to have him stay permanently

If we somehow(cant see that) bring Tuchel than gettin Lukaku instead Dybala was flop of galaxy proportions. I can see gettin Juric and hope he can deliver and not fail here like Gasperini.

i will never understand this hype over simeone, he's not a good coach and should honestly stay where he is.
I don't want Simeone at Inter, but he is a good coach. Hell, even very good. The Overachiever.

I would love Poch here. Yea, he kinda flopped in PSG but everyone flops there, from Tuchel to don Carletto. Poch would be serious upgrade over Limone.

I like Poch, also happens to be a former Newells player, though id perfer Bielsa i would still be overjoyed with Poch

We should hire someone who has titles under his belt. De Zerbis, Italianos are another Inzaghi. They don't know how to lead a team to scudetto since they have never experienced themselves. I think Pirlo is the best candidate as he ticks all the boxes:
- Has won numerous scudettos and UCL, WC
- Knows Conte ball first-hand, played in 352 himself
- Cheap
- Needles to say, knows Serie A and speaks Italian, hence shouldn't be experiencing miscommunication issues with players.
- Interista :)
Winning titles as a player has zero correlation with being able to win as a manager..

My suggestion was based on the dire situation we are in. If we had tons of money and our players were top tier, then of course Pirlo wouldn't be in the discussion.

Conte hadn’t won the title as a manager before rube appointed him in 2011. That's already more than zero correlation.

Won't mind Chivu. Liked his recent interview as a Primavera coach.

He isn't. The last time he coached was 8 years ago as a player-manager in India.

But apparently he is the dream maker that will lead us to the promised land.

I've already accepted there is no trajectory but downwards until Suning sells the club - which will take time. And as much as I enjoy the circus that is this club, the second we start hiring random shitters like Stankovic or Chivu is the second we condemn this club to another decade long banter era.

What we must do in the meantime is arrest the rate of decline and try to consolidate and maintain our position as 4th place shitters until Suning fuck off. To do this we need to be smart in our hires and investments i.e. no more fucking Correa's or Dzeko's or Limone's who lose their marbles the second it gets tough.

Juric is the only name who meets all the criteria we currently require:
- he'll be relatively cheap
- he plays 352 (we can't afford a full scale overhaul of the squad to be able to play a 433 or whatever)
- he has experience
- he seems to have some balls at least

I still think it's more than likely we'll finish around 3rd or 4th. Fucking Udinese obviously won't last nor will Atalanta. At some point juve will regain their players to win them enough points but the only two teams who are a lock for top 4 are Milan and Napoli IMO. Barring some miraculous recovery which leads to the scudetto or close 2nd place, sack Limone at the end of the season and bring in Juric.

As for what Juric's Inter might look like.. well, we literally have only TEN players who are actually under contract for next season (which is fucking absurd mismanagement on Marotta's part), but that's another headache for later. I'm sure we can always sell Barella for 35m and buy 10 assholes for 3.5m each.

But that's the thing. When we have so many expiring contracts we can basically build the squad however we like. It's now or never for a rebuild and a change in your tactical approach. Why restraining yourself with a formation that only very few coaches in Europe use when Conte isn't around anymore? Do you think sticking with 3-5-2 would be cheap?

- You're going to need 1-2 new starting cbs, depending on what happens with Skriniar
- You're going to need a new starting lwb if we give up on Gosens
- You're going to need 1-2 new forwards, depending on what happens with Lukaku
- For me you also need a creative midfielder to start over Hakan

We are talking about 4-6 new players who are going to have important roles in the squad, not Asllanis and Bellanovas. And that's only if you don't sell Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella or Lautaro. And i haven't even touched the issue of squad depth.

Either way you're going to need money to keep the team relevant after this season.

I see only Skriniar contract a big problem and hope he renews.

I would also like to see Darmian to renew and maybe Danilo too and I think they would be happy to stay here, but we might not even need them?

Others Dzeko, Gags, Dalbert, De Vrij, Handa, Cordaz all can go. I would only take Lukaku for another year loan, but I would prefer him go next summer. This will release big junk of wages.

I would scrab this 3backline and find a coach who use 4backline witch is more balanced.

Esposito, Sensi, Carboni and Pirola might bring us €32,5m next summer, so that might get us closer to that rummoured €60m after €20m from Pinamonti and €20m from Casadei. We also sold Gravillon and Di Gregorio for 7,5m this summer. I did not ad Lazaro, Vanhausden, Salcedo, Radu… But they might also bring us few extra millions?

Bielsa would be my top target and he used 4-5-1 system, but is also known to use 3backline.

Lautaro
(Lukaku) loan
Satriano
Correa (or new striker)

It would be good if we would find a buyer to Correa and replace him as he can’t really play at lone forward. Maybe more realistic option is to loan him out and find someone new on loan to replace him. Lukaku will be solved next summer.

Hakan
Mkhitaryan
Carboni
Barella
Brozovic
Asllani
Agoume
(new dm)

In midfield we have few good players. But we might still need to look what the market offers and maybe get someone free or loan? I would like to see one decent DM. Also Gosens and Bellanova might play at wide midfielder role under Bielsa?

Dumfries
Bellanova
Zanotti
Gosens
Dimarco
Skriniar
Bastoni
Fontanarosa
(new cb)

Only if we renew just for Skriniar we still have decent defenders. We only need to ad one cb, maybe two? Once again we might need to look for free agents or loan someone. I would also keep the option for selling Gosens and Bastoni if they would not fit to new system? They should easily bring us €80-90m for new transfers.

Onana should be our starting gk and we need to find solid cheap backup. There is also option for Handa to renew another year?

So as we see we have solid core and many options how we can go forward. Expiring contracs don’t worry me that much and opposite I see it as a good opportunity to make some changes and cut more wages. But we might need to sell one or two starters to get fresh new players in to fit new coaches needs, but we don’t need total overhaul. With someone like Poch we would need 3-4 new wingers and that seems bigger challenge!

I forgot to ad that there are many interesting free agents next summer and I bet Marotta is looking some of them whit his eye!

3-man defence is used more and more these days, specially in Serie A. And after this season, this team has played 4 seasons with 3-man defence.

I'd say we stick to that if there are coaches available for that. And Juric might be since he was in fights (literally  ) with his club already this summer.
