I really like De Zerbi, is an absolute class manager who has a very clear vision and knows how to translate that to his players. He’s willing to use young players and develops them. Would be, by far, the best choise.

But also an expensive one. We would need some quality players who suits his style (although we have some already offcourse).

What makes you say that? I watched him closely when he was a Shakhtar Donetsk coach, the result of his coaching methods was an instant loss of points and the overall form of the team, as soon as the war with the Russian pigs started he was immediately fired and the team's performance improved, despite the fact that half the team was sold.

Just look at Bologna's squad, this team has to fight for survival, not to qualify for European competitions, if Inzaghi still can't, I would take Thiago Motta.

Hiring conte and extending Inzaghi should be ruled out from our option. Never should we endure another costly player requests and sacking cost because the manchild throws tantrum. Chelsea, Inter, and now Tottenham are victims of his robbery and repeating it means we are dumber than donkey.

Nagelsmann is interesting, but good luck attracting the prospective young manager with zero treasury. There are some alternatives like Motta, Italiano, and Juric emerge as the feasible next manager. Beside them, I also rate Poch because of his achievement with Tottenham. Poch has better track records especially his capability to work on minimum budget and developing young squad. His Tottenham is at the end of the cycle. His PSG tenure is a nightmare, but it is always difficult to work with the bunch of high ego players and FM-wanna-be owners. The question is whether Marotta is willing to get out of his comfort zone and if Poch can compromise to work with technical director.
What did he exactly achieve at spurs. Last I checked he bottled every final they played and a title race vs Leicester. Limone won more at lazio then pochettino at spurs.

What about Brendan Rodgers? I think he is free.
Some may laugh but he's a good manager. No chance though for a whole host of reasons.

....... people who are still obsessed with him don't watch them play or follow them since they made the champions league final a few years back.

hard pass. I'm cool if we fully raid Sevilla tho.

Is Simeone willing to more or less half his salary (20m is what he makes I believe) to realistically make it happen? Just for Inter? I have my doubts. I wouldn’t leave my current job to go to another job for a massive wage cut. I don’t think anyone would. And it’s not like managing Inter is a vacation with no pressure whatsoever. It’s probably one of the more stressful managerial positions in football.

Don't have one.
One of the main reasons I would like simeone here is the fact that he would build from the back, and also his style of play doesn't require flashy players that cost fortune, just a solidly built team that you could probably construct by raiding physical teams like torino or udinese. Having a solid defense and managing those 1:0 games is absolutely crucial in seria a.

Of course, it's the question if we will even have money for anything next year, let alone simeone salary, but I honestly think if we can somehow hire him then his player requirements would probably cost us less than someone who plays attacking football like de zerbi or pochettino.

Even though Atletico have really regressed in the last few years, I would love Simeone here.

At the end of the day, it was pretty unrealistic for Atletico to even compete with teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona so it's not as if they are underperforming under Simeone, with the exception of the Champions League this season.

More importantly, we really need to fix our defence. The only thing consistent about us this season is how awful we are defending in transition when we lose the ball. Simeone would fix our defence and have players fighting for the shirt.

We really need a coach to instill a certain mentality with this team and that players know who is the leader. I get the feeling that Inzaghi gives players too much freedom.

I don't know why they're even considering De Zerbi. I think it's gonna be someone like Conte, Mourinho or Allegri. I doubt that we'll go again for another coach who hasn't won anything besides some Coppa Italias.

De Zerbi is probably an extreme last resort. They would have to be really mad to go for someone that inexperienced and I don't think Marotta will allow that. As for Simeone, I get the love because most of us old fucks grew up with him as a player and he played for us etc. but I don't get the obsession. He plays very boring 442 and in his 12 years in Atletico has won what, 2 ligas, 2 europa leagues? Might as well keep Inzaghi for that.

Mourinho should never come back here not because I think he's a bad manager now, but will tarnish his legacy he left here. Would obviously love him here but it will most likely end badly nowadays.

Conte would be nice but he's forever unhappy.

Allegri would be a good choice (despite coming from that club).

What I would really like is Klopp. Managers are getting sacked left and right recently and I don't think Liverpool is gonna make Champions League and he'll probably get axed or even leave himself in the summer.
