We could have at least tried for Juric. Even Torino will have a better coaching situation than us.

And Iachini is a free agent...

Too expensive. Armando Madonna fits the bill more.

Offer Cagliari Nainggolan in exchange for Semplici, we get an experienced coach and they get an experienced player, 2 birds with one stone kind of situation.

Suning have just confirmed we will not have a manager anymore to save costs. Steven Zhang will be the head coach from now on.

Pirlo :)

Let’s troll Juve.

How does it make sense to pay Conte half his wages then another coach his wages to stay. It’s like bitch your contract says 1 more year. You have to stick it out.

When players want to leave the club can sue them in front of Fifa and basically end their career. Why do we always have to pay these fks who want to leave!!

This is what I don't understand. Projects change, if you aren't happy, resign. Why are the club paying him? Unless it was in his contract and he can fuck us?

Would rather take Stankovic or Juric over Inzaghi or any of the other shitters we're reportedly interested in.

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been more media speculation around Deki considering he just came off a record breaking season with Red Star and would be welcomed by the fans as a club legend.

We got lucky this season to win the title. Our roster is shit and will be worse next season since we can’t buy anyone and need to sell star players.

We also expect to win. So any coach that comes to this project is set up to fail.

Unless covid is magically over and we fill up every stadium. Outlook looks grim

The Conte to real or Tottenham rumors are pissing me off. So he wants us to pay him to leave so he can then go get more money somewhere else?

I also can’t imagine him at Real with his play style

Won the league by 12 points, yet we got lucky? We were by far the best team.

Go ahead and say it was because we were out of Champions League, but Atalanta and Juve literally only played 2 more CL games than us. Milan played 4 more.

Milan actually only 2 as well because we had the two coppa games after we knocked them out.

I meant 4 more games in Europe. But the point is, no other team made a deep run that stopped them from putting everything into Serie A in the last few months.

I didn't think I would be on this thread for at least another year.. the decision is shocking but Conte is acting like a spoil child who wants all his toys although he doesn't play with some.. business is business the pandemic has affected the economic world.. I just hope Zhang is smart enough to get a good coach who can compete on all fronts.. I hope it's Simeone and not Simone at the helm next season... But he just won in spain so that's out of the question..and we just missed mourihno by 2 weeks..Hire the guy who Bayern just let go???

So you would stay in a job where they want to pay you less money, sell your best players and then not replace them? You must be masochist!

I'm with Conte on this one, how are you expected to do a project if you have to cut funding? If you need to cut then it's a dead project and why would Conte stay for it? He's not an interista and as you said, bussiness is bussiness.

Safe choice:
Max Allegri
Maurizio Sarri
Simone Inzaghi

Stupid choice:
Sinissa Mihajlovic
Vincenzo Montella

Good gamble:
Marcelo Gallardo

Risky gamble:
Hernan Crespo
Dejan Stankovic
Sergio Conceicao

Awkward choice:
Ernesto Valverde
Laurent Blanc
Lucien Favre
Peter Bosz

The best course of action is to stick with Conte for the duration of his contract but for some absurd reason we're paying him to quit

Favre is the Swiss version of Spalletti. Good enough to take a club to top 4, or even top 2, but when it comes to challenging for the title the guy is a hell of a choker.

As for Bosz, GOD NO! He's tactically clueless, he plays with a very high defensive line and he would get destroyed in Italy. Worse than De Boer.
