Stankovic was horrible. I find Motta adds a good dimension to our midfield because he plays deep behind Sneijder and can spread passes and link up with Wes nicely. Also, I think this is a game where we could've used a guy like Balotelli or Quaresma to win some free kicks and grind out a victory.

agreed completely bro, stan has been brutal since he came back. Motta definetley deserves a spot in the starting eleven.

We definetley needed balo or rq today, simply because Nobody was taking on or running at defenders. We allowed palermo just to stay set and were content just passing the ball slowly around the box. We needed somebody to open the space or like you said win some dangerous fk's. Why doesn't anybody on our team shoot? sneijder was the only one looking to shoot but he was marked too tight, we had lots of posession outside the palermo box and we barely tested the goalie. Against chelsea too i thought we could have fired more shots.

I'm really disappointed with pandev he has been useless lately and today was his worst game at Inter imo. He was caught in posession and gave the ball away way too much, he looks really slow out there and he killed most of our attacks. I really hope goran improves or mou stops playing him in that position if indeed thats the reason why he's so poor.

as for maicon he was ok, he did well to get forward alot in this game but his deliveries into the area leave alot to be desired and he should take on defenders a bit more. However it is predicatable because we attack up the right way too often so the opposing team knows whats coming and close down the space on the right. most of his crosses were from a bad angle or too far from the box.

Having said that there were still some bright spots, sneijders passing was on display, samuel was a rock and it was a good return for santon. Eto'o looked very dangerous in the 1st half and he looked alot better tonight than in his past serie a games. Hoping that chelsea goal helps him get into his top form.

This isn't a bad result all things considered, palermo are a very good team and there home form is outstanding. We were fortuneate they didn't hit us on the counter, samuel's slip/tackle on cavani, lucio's interception on pastore and miccoli's hesitation all almost moments for palermo on the counter attack. We were still in control of the match and eventually one of these games we are going to breakthrough and find our winners.

I agree with luka that we will pick up our form as the season goes on and we will win the scudetto, today was an improvement from past games.

forza inter per sempre

This is when you need a-holes like Balotelli, we didn't have imaginations and just looked sluggish.

Stan is becoming the new Muntari, horrible game by him.

Glad to see Santon playing again, he was really solid today.

Well yes and not, the first goal was a fault to him, he moves very slow and i undesrtand because he needs more minutes.

Very bad performance.. I'm really sad for this, and for that's most bad we may lose the first place in table. We weren't impressive lately in Serie A, and from six matches we got seven points, that's really ridiculous.

Something is not right with Santon. I am not sure if it is confidence, lack of minutes or a combination of both but in comparison to last season he does not look as sharp or confident. He gives his man too much space and is slow to close opponents. The goal conceded against Palermo was the result of a mistake of one our central defenders but at the conclusion of the move, Santon was the closest player to Cavani and watched the move pass him by.

Yeah when Motta plays Sneijder doesn't need to track back do often, there were times with Cambiasso, Zanetti and Deki in midfield where you had Sneijder going down deeper than Cambiasso. Then we have the situation on the left were Santon (God bless him) suffers at times to put in crosses from the left due to obvious reasons because he is not left footed and if I have to single him out he wan't perfect defensively but did skip past a few players with style. While watching their goal also I notice that it was on Cesar's post I'm not one to criticise a goalkeeper but I think he could've saved that but the defense rushed out on Miccoli too early and gave space to Cavani. Then in the end everyone knows what happened last half hour Palermo defend we hold possession unluckily hit the post with Samuel, meh now let's hope to get three points in the next few games. But I still have to add that not sending off of Bovo conditioned the damn game, if he was sent off after half an hour (which conveniently referees did to two of our players in one game and also to Sneijder in another) the game would have fallen under out control and we'd be talking of a completely different story.

I can't but feel some of you are being slightly pessimistic. Palermo are unbeaten in 23 games at home and a point is actually a pretty decent result if you put it that way, especially seeing as Inter played the game of their life on Tuesday.

I thought it was an entertaining game myself and a draw was probably a fair result.

How could we only have 3 FW left, how many FW we have when this season began?
Where are they now?
I am kind of miss those strong FW like V32 and Ibra now, they can break weak team's defense by pure force~ which Eto or Milito seems can't.

Edit: No revealing of other match results in the inter threads. Use the serie a thread to discuss milan's game.

Javier Zanetti,
We can't lose our lead to Bilan after all these months, well at least not to merda. I will have nightmares if that is the case. We need to win our next match at all cost, cuz we will be facing Roma next week. 7 consecutive games and only 1 win. Since when did we have that record. I can't understand why Bilan get open spaces against their opponents and ours have a bus parked in front of their goal, like this match for example. This is getting really annoying.

That's because they're really frightened of us. They much prefer a draw, if they win it's a bonus for them. But against Milan, they play more openly because they really believe they can beat Milan.

The first half of the season was much more enjoyable than now, cuz we were scoring loads of goals. Now we are struggling to find the net and this is very annoying. I don't think Livorno will play an open game against us. They will get murdered if they do.
