I just found out about this myself, I'm thankful that he is alright, the most shocking thing is that this isn't an isolated case because other Nigerian players like, Benjamin Onwuachi, Femi Ajilore and Ifeanyi Emeghara, were also attacked in Lagos while they were enjoying their vacations.

Martins is considering not returning to Nigeria after all this, well I guess its pretty understandable.
