Spaletti is a midtable coach at best

Long career, 0 titles, many embarrassing losses (1-7 away to united for example)

Guys quit the spaletti bashing.

He did a job for us which is establish us as a CL club again, consecutively!! That’s what he was brought in to do and he achieved it, wtf does it matter if he’s won 0 titles in his career!

You have to be a bit more specific...no Serie A titles you mean? He won the Coppa Italia twice and also won the Russian Premier League twice among other titles in Russia.

Like I said before (since we let Zaniolo go to Roma for finished furniture like N9) we lost 70m from this deal with the time passing it will get even worse ... and yeah Spalletti is to blame for his loser mentality and Nainggolan fetish cuz who knows what they did that night with the slept over!

And whoever say that we have to close our eyes cuz he brought us CL, I can tell you that they were so many other coaches we could have that could do better or at least not worse than him not to mention Icardi saga - so fuck that!

It wasn't Spalletti who dealt with Roma and agreed to their demand.

Cagliari wanted many of our youngsters in Barella deal yet we did not give any. Same with Roma demand on Dzeko deal.

Spalletti wanted Nainggolan at all cost but it is up to Ausilio how to get the player.

Then Ausilio should be immediately fired. If i screw it in my job i get fired, why this moron no? just imagine what would happen if you cost your company more than 70 million euros.

So he should get fired for 1 deal? What about deV deal? Asamoah? Lautaro? Who bought zaniolo in the first place?

Come on guys. And aren't you the same guys saying we should give Conte what he wants but giving a Spallo ONE signing he wants should get Ausillo fired? ok...

I think Ausilio learnt his lesson from that Zaniolo deal, therefore not letting it happen anymore.

It's hilarious to see the amount of hate that Ausilio gets when the only real failure of a transfer he made was Dalbert, a player who Sabatini concluded the deal for. Ausilio had it wrapped at 8m + bonuses (don't recall if it was 12 or 15m total), then we stalled and told them we weren't interested and then it became a 20m deal because his agent got greedy and we had no alternative lined up. Do you want more memory enhancement pills on this deal? We tried to get Ricardo Rodriguez back then but they wanted 18m and we didn't have the luxury of splashing that amount due to FFP and we even had to sell a player (enter Banega sale) to comply with our famous Thohir Settlement Agreement. Dalbert was a cheaper alternative that ended up being a failure. The msitake from Ausilio's part, apart from the outcome of the player, was not saying that "there's this other dude we could go for since these Nice guys aren't being so nice anymore".

The other "failure" is part of a successful deal. We managed to get Nainggolan, the priority of our coach, by giving 23m, a player that nobody wanted at Inter in Santon and an unproven youngster that didn't even have a single first team appearance, not even on the bench. He didn't want to give either Zaniolo or Radu that were the only two kids Roma wanted and we didn't have the extra 15m they wanted to conclude the deal. There probably were ways to conclude the deal until the end of the window without having to give away a prospect. But that would mean that the coach would not have his priority signing at preseason. Which is something that our management has not managed to give Antonio Conte with Romelu Lukaku thus far as he arrived fairly late and it's not like we saved up any money compared to the first deals we made, we simply ended up caving to their valuation and wasted over 1 month doing so. With Radja we could have hoped to make a sale instead (which never happened anyway) in order to save Zaniolo.

But we all know that Spalletti wouldn't be using Zaniolo anyway.

n4l is correct here.

Ausilio is so long at the club because he is doing exactly what his boss wants. That's my understanding. As to n9 deal, to be fair nobody predicted how poor he will do (comparing to his roma days) here and everybody was suprised how it turned out. However if I had to blame somebody (not that I do to a large extent due to the things mentioned above) it would have to be spallo as he knows hin better than anyone. Maybe he already noticed his decline in physics but he wanted his boy anyway. We'll never know though.

Brehme the contrarian. I showed you already we are top 10 net spenders in the last five years, funnily coinciding with the beginning of Ausilio's reign, and we've nothing to show for it, except a fourth place finish or two, in contrast to all other nine teams on the list. But you just like to type I guess, sounds like a sweet hobby.

Yes, you "showed me" yet you didn't bother replying to the part that the coaches' requests amounted to around 60% of that excessive spending...

And contrary to what you want to think, it was not Ausilio's job to pick the coach. He did have a say of course, but he did not pick the coach. Marotta for example now may pick the coach, Ausilio never had that power.
