Sounds funny, we want to build a stadium and can't add 1.5 to Skriniars contract.

Zhang needs to fucking sell this club.

We might soon stay at Meazza alone.

Fuck Zhang even more if we stay at the old stadium and Milan get a new one.

It’s bullshit isn’t it?

This thread should be closed. Similar to when player transfers become official, the same should apply to the stadium thread. Saves us reading and navigating 204 pages of absolute pipedream nonsense.

It is. I'm sure if they give a permission we won't be able to finance the fence around the site, let alone investing hundreds of millions.

The only thing is that new buyer(if any) will be attracted with ready plan for stadium.

It'll be a loan against inter I'm sure. Stevie won't be dipping into his pockets at all (and why would he).

Another loan, more debt, more sales to pay for it.

On the other hand, because we are building with milan we'd get a state of the art stadium for half the price. Should be a no brainer.

With what money? We are in mountain of debt . We probably couldn't find our share of money if we build together.

By building it together our incompetence will at least ensure Milan don't get a stadium either. If we go with separate projects we all know who will get a stadium built first.

Similar how to they beat us to last season's Scudetto and how they will beat us to number 20.

More rumors how Milan might want to go with their own plan. Deadline in March or April for the decision.

For me, this sounds extremely worrying. We ain't gonna get a stadium anytime soon if it's up to the Chinese beggars.

Milan is pushing because they know that we don't have any money, they don't want to wait forever, not for us and not for city decision and it is correct.

Milan Mayor Beppe Sala: “We’ll Move Forward With Authorization For Inter Milan & AC Milan’s New Stadium, But Remains To Be Seen What Happens With San Siro Injunction”

Milan Mayor Beppe Sala feels that the city of Milan is doing all it can to expedite the process of approving Inter and AC Milan’s new stadium plans, although the question of a possible injunction against demolishing the San Siro is out of their hands.

Speaking to the press, as reported by Calcio e Finanza, the Milan Mayor explained that, as far as the possibility of an injunction that would prevent that two clubs from demolishing the existing San Siro, more time will be needed to see what happens.

Inter and Milan have been pushing to get started on their new stadium plans as soon as possible.

However, even as some progress has been made, there is still no clear end in sight to the bureaucratic hurdles as the clubs grow increasingly impatient, particularly the Rossoneri.

One more possible hitch would be the attempt that is being made to place an injunction on demolishing the San Siro which, if it were to be granted, would mean that approval from the city of Milan would essentially be meaningless and construction could not start within the city.

“We will continue to do what we have to do,” Sala said of the city’s role, “I met the new superintendent [Emmanuela Carpani] at a public event, who asked me for a few days as she settles into her new position, and then I’ll speak with her.”

“It remains to be seen how the superintendence will move on the question of an injunction against demolishing the San Siro, but for our part we will continue to move forward with the project of authorizing the plans,” the Mayor added.
