And Lakers is losing it. Kobe has been great but definitely not Jordan-esque and he alone is not enough to carry the team. Kinda like Garnett and the Wolves.

LeBron James. :star:

I think either him or Steve Nash should be the MVP this season.

Nash (from the same city as me!) should be named MVP. He's been huge to the Suns and is the main reason why they're doing so well. Granted, he's not a great defensive player but he more than makes it up for on the other end of the court.

Just a little sidenote:

I also got incredibly lucky to be involved in a pick-up game with Nash about 2 summers back when he came back home for the offseason. I was stunned by how quick he was. What you see on TV is but a fraction of how quick he moves in real life game. Thankfully I didn't have to guard him for more than a few possesions. :)

Fun game though and one of my great achievements, if you can call it that. ;)

I cant believe no one is posting and its PLAYOFF times...

I will begin by saying that the Celtics are battling the Pacers and that series is 2-2 right now..

I am just glad the lakers arent in it which proves my theory that Shaq can win without Kobe but Kobe cant win without Shaq, they didnt even make it to the playoffs...Shaq is definately more important to a team than Kobe.Serves the Lakers right for making that stuid choice.

I'm watching the Playoffs. Been some good series so far, though the Heat and Suns just ran over their respective opponents. I'm also rooting for the Bulls as I've been a fan of them since I was a mere 8 years old when Jordan and Co. were hoisting championships every year.

Hopefully they win tonight!

My thoughts:

Detroit is the best team, and may not have as strong of a bench as last season, but their back court play alot of minutes and they have enough big bodies in Elden Campbell and Antonio McDyess off the bench. I think they'll take the Heat in six games, and I'll finally have some peace in this town full of bandwagoners.

San Antonio will get a sweep off of the Suns. As I've said all year long, defense wins championship, and Phoenix was going no-where with their style of play.

Miami was a tad lucky last night. They needed a tremendous effort from Wade and a crappy shooting night from Detroit and they still barely won. I hope Pistons win the series, I'm starting to dislike the Heat for some reason. I like Wade (though not the MJ comparisons) and Shaq somewhat but I hate 'Zo and his tough-guy act. :yuck:

Phoenix? Very good away record, but they'll need to win two games in San An just to get back in the series, which is pretty much impossible seeing the Spurs only lost three at home all year. Suns are really missing Joe Johnson too.

San Antonio are very strong and they will easily beat Suns.

If Pistons stop Wade, then Miami have no chance.
