Completely agree. Nearly fell asleep during the planet of the apes movie. Was so disappointing

Finally got to watch Spiderman. Funny and nice entertainment.

The villain was quite underwhelming tho. Basically just a dad going around stealing stuff. His vulture suit barely created any sense of threat imo. They kinda wasted Michael Keaton in that sense.
More of those "dad talk" type scenes and less of the workshop ones would have added more flesh to the character.

Rogue One is on Netflix it fking sucks!!! No one was like able but the robot and the two Asian dudes.

Just feels like Wolverine Orgins.... hey this is the story how Logan got his Jacket.....

Did we really need a movie to show us how the Rebels got their Death Star blue prints?

I personally liked the film, not amazing but I liked it. Not what I would have wanted out of an anthology film, for example I wanted the Obi Wan film to be made first. But the film itself was pretty good. Also I think they wanted to go with the safe bet of doing this movie as it's so close to the time periods we've already seen, it explains why the weakness was there in the first place, and doing something like "The Golden Age of the Sith" (if they do this I'll be super hype but it's thousands of years before) may have been a little out there for casual Star Wars fans. I really am not looking forward to the Han Solo film as I really don't care tooooo much for the character but that's the next anthology film unfortunately. They'll probably do a few more "safe" films before they start going for the really awesome shit imo.

The people who will watch the Emoji movie should lose the right to complain about the lack of good movies & originality in Hollywood.

That nonsense needs to bomb at the box office.

I too found the characters for the most part unlikable, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. Also, again with the retarded logic? Do we need any movie? Personally I think Rogue One makes A New Hope a better movie so I think they were fairly wise in making it. In fact I probably enjoyed it more than Force Awakens

One thing I did like about Rogue one was that the Rebels were kind of bad people too. It's like the Empire are Nazis but the rebels aren't exactly pure either. Yea I found force Awakens kind of unwatchable. Think any Disney movie gets a pass and people automatically like it for some reason. Loved it till Han Solo shows up and it becomes hey all these cool new people you just found out about ... well fk them here are the 70 year actors from the 1st movies sleep walking. Also just saw the picture of the Main bad guy for he 2nd movie. Almost positive it's Darth Vader. Looks like a super burnt up human.

Haha on new characters my nieces who are 5 and 3 loved the prequels and Jar Jar. But now love BB8. I don't get why they just didn't recast the older actors or just not show them. Only important character is Luke as he is the Jedi. Han was def the closet in the movies but not that important.

They didn't recast the main actors because people wanted to see them. I thought that was obvious

Force awakens unwatchable? Confusing. I didn't see the problem with Han coming in, why in fucks name would they recast a role that the original actors are the right age for? Leia (despite the not so great acting (RIP)) was important to the film/story in a way, why on earth wouldn't she be in the story? And the villain is literally the child of those two characters? Having Han Solo die by the hands of his son gives emotional weight to the characters involved. Story wise I think it was great, and it was clear Kylo Ren was basically just trying to convince himself that he was evil rather than him actually being so. Again why on earth would you recast Han Solo in that situation? I genuinely would like to understand the logic here??? The fans who love the franchise and the character of Han (not the hugest Han fan myself but still) would obviously feel that death more with it being Harrison Ford than having recast the character. Most of the new characters were likeable in the film, really liked Oscar Isaacs' character and hope Po is in the next film a lot more as well.

Agreed it also explains the whole "why on earth is there such a flaw in the Deathstar?" argument. Because the architect wanted that shit to be exploited that's why.

Any of you seen Dunkirk? Saw it couple days ago. A very raw experience that was very well executed. Loved it.

I thought it was a good movie, def a movie to see in a movie theater. I've been fiending for a real war movie for some time now.

My only gripe is that the movie could've been trimmed a bit, since some scenes were too long IMO.

Probably people knew the history of Dunkirk. In the movie, the tense feeling was built up from the beginning. Let's imagine that we have no where to run and Nazi could pop up anywhere anytime. Soldiers did not care abt politics, survival first. Thus prolonging scenes have a purpose. Death is close but they can only wait and do nothing about it. Brilliant movie.
