I watched the Oscar bait that is A Real Pain. I didn't hate it but the story lacked depth.

Babygirl was some cringe shit. Picked it up for Nicole Kidman but what a shit movie.
Gladiator 2 do not bother.
The Substance was way better than I expected

man I use to love Jack Black, the Rock and Kevin Hart but they will just say yes to any movie. I did watch the Christmas movie "Saten" (a little kid sends a Christmas list to satan instead of Santa because he has a disability)..... Jack black tries to trick him for his soul. It was kind of funny and cute but defiantly not a kids movie. It was odd. I know none of you will watch it. But little kid had a younger brother who was killed parents moved to a different place, both blame each other and are getting a divorce. "Satan" is the comic relief while trying to steal the kids soul........ super odd and dark....

Gal Gadot is a terrible actress but she is a 12/10. Her Natalie Portman should be up there when someone says some anti jewish shit. Like you wouldn't wank to this ?

I dont like Henry Cavil. Dude built a gaming computer 10 years ago and now nerds look at him like he is their Jesus. All his movies bomb and he isnt a good actor.

The new generation of film critics (those between the ages of 20-40) are all idiots without exception. Nosferatu is a shit movie despite all the good reviews what it received. The Skarsgard kid looks like a fucking cartoon character as Count Orlok. He is a mediocre actor anyway. Hollywood is dead.

What you on about. Movies have been woke for a long time, it's just that now some people are making it an issue, while others push it more out of spite. There are certainly bad woke movies, but those are usually forgettable slops. There are also bad "non woke" movies, be it Megalopolis, Borderlands or the shit Daily Wire is producing.

Every Sidney Poitier movie is woke by default for including a black actor in a prominent role and that's a good thing. Matrix is woke. Juno is woke. The Korean movie Parasite is very woke.

Woke used to refer to awareness of social and political issues affecting African Americans, was also used by feminist movements and spread like wildfire after that. And oh looksy, things did get a lot better for people in the last 100 years at least as far social standings and rights goes.

So please let's stop using the word woke as a slur, because it was most definitely a good thing for the world. You can criticize too much inclusivity, especially when they cast a black actress to play a white queen, that's silly, but we shouldn't conflate woke and inclusivity as the same thing.

- This Simon Pegg trilogy is great in so many ways, the production, the story, the comedy, the acting, well it's a comedy, I recently re-watched Hot Fuzz and it's still funny as hell.
- Prometheus, maybe not for everyone, but I consider it a guilty pleasure movie, it introduced me to the Alien franchise. Alien 1 and 2 are still the best imo, unlike the bloody overrated Romulus.
- Hotel Rwanda, the first time I saw it, maybe I was too young, and I almost couldn't stand it because of the brutality of the story.
- Prisoners and Hope (Korean) are on the same theme, but imo Hope still hits hard.
- Old Boy (Korea) is a good action movie, but I wouldn't recommend watching it with the family.
- 3 Idiots, maybe the only Indian movie I watched in a long time. Entertaining movie.
- Jurassic Park, well, a classic.
- The Call (Korean) very nice thrilling movie.
- We're the Millers, hilarious. Too bad studios don't make stuff like this anymore.
- Howl Moving Castle. Just one of Ghiblis wonder animation movies.
