Nah, if you take a hit and smile it off, that's gangsta. He was kinda speechless, but doing nothing but continuing the show and defusing the situation was the best thing for him and everybody included.

Still, in the real world, he would absolutely get rekt if he dropped a comment like that to somebody

Remember when Tommy Lee Jones gets his mind erased in Men in Black and it's a very sad, but beautiful thing?
Remember when we had a lot of Nostalgia bait in Avengers End Game?
What if we erase all the character development of the main protagonist and make him a stupid buffoon, that almost destroys the world because he didn't get into MIT?

Spiderman No Way Home is equally enjoyable watch and fucking stupid. It's okay, comic book movies are meant to be stupid fun. But this one was actually kinda cynical when you stop and think about it. I imagine this is not the end of nostalgia baiting from Marvel, not just Marvel related, but just straight up stealing concepts, adding Marvel humour, big action setpiece at the end of the movie, rinse repeat.

If the next Dr. Strange movie won't be a horror movie like they said it would be, I'm gonna be bored as fuck. We need to get something new. Ironman 3, Infinity War, Thor Ragnarok are all well remembered, because they didn't just do the same thing every time.

What if we erase our own minds of the favourite films/tv we have watched so we can have the absolute pleasure of watching it again, from scratch.
Superhero power I would chose.

Watch the family comedy-drama movie

THE FAREWELL

Just some real shit about Chinese way of life (and/or thinking). Awkwafina in her best role yet and her grandma was the shit. So what this movie is about is that grandma Nai Nai has a terminal disease but she's the only one in the family that doesn't know about it so the family decides on having a wedding to get the whole family together.

Rewatched the Batman on HBO max…..

It wasn’t as good as I remembered …..

I mean way way way too long….. some odd really bizarre Choices in the movie that make no sense

Also can DC stop trying to make Batman realistic. Enough with this Cop in a funny outfit nonsense

If he can take a bomb and shotgun to the face he isn’t realistic. He also was going like 50 miles an hour off a building head first into a bridge and didn’t die…. Which is fine but stop pretending it’s realistic that way he can hang out with Superman and have a few teenage side kicks without shit being weird

I just don’t see where the story goes from here unless they make it way way less gritty and “realistic” in the next 1

The end references Bane….. and looks like he might be like the comic version.

If the next villain is Joker, Penguin, or another serial killer these movies will bomb. 750 for a Batman movie when Joker made 1 billion is a massive failure.

Lol Joker was overhyped and just the right movie to get people talking about it and bring all the incels out. The Batman has nothing to generate that kind of hype, especially now that Marvel movies are all the rage again. Joker had the luck to be released when Marvel ended a cycle.

I agree that it's funny how many shots and hits he can take, but in the context of the message it works - it's not realistic, it's comic book realistic. Also he's the World's greatest Detective and finally a movie shows that, he was never like that in Nolan movies. Too many times with your posts I feel like you're being pedantic for the sake of being pedantic. I felt 3 hours flew by, I thought I was gonna pause it and watch more today, but it held my interest too strongly.

This would've been a great tv series, as a movie it felt a bit too much was crammed in. I understand why Catwoman was in this, but her character (the actress did fine) would have benefitted from more screen time. Oh well. I give it a 9/10, felt the movie could've been grimmier and darker, more like the Watchmen, I'd like that from a potential sequel, but I don't think they have the guts for it.

I am a sucker for urban, gritty, rainy, evening dark blue skied cityscapes, and this movie was full of it. So cinematography-wise I give it a 11/10.

I liked it story-wise too, a nice crime thriller and you could substitute Batman with any other detective and it'd still be a good story.

The casting was meh. Catwoman was ok and Gollum did a decent job as Alfred (then again, the role of Alfred is tough to fuck up). I like the idea of a young, 20-something, sheepish, naive Batman who is scared of heights, but I am not sure Pattinson convincingly delivered on that. Although I can't think of any other actor who could have done a better job.

Overall I like it much much more than Afleck's Batman, granted that that movie was ruined by that idiot Snyder.

I'd watch any sequels if they recreate that juicy cinematography again😍

I liked the movie its just not as good as any of the Bale or Keaton movies.

Its just hard to go from here. I hope they got the whole detective thing off their backs and it goes more comic books and he is way way way way way way way way less realistic. I mean he gets shot with shotgun point blank... just make it so his suit doesn't even feel it. Make him fight something cool.

At some point this guy is going to have to meet Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and green lantern. If you watch Iron Man 1 then his last appearance. In no way would that Iron man ever meet Thanos and beat him. Batman is DCs Spiderman/Wolverine and Iron Man combined. You need to get him to that point.

If this series can't do that you need to recast and reboot with the new ownership.

Batman is my favorite character and everything but I don't want to see 8 of him running around.

Rumor is this batman is his own universe with the HBO tv shows. The Joker 2 will have a new Batman. Flash has Keaton and Affleck. Then Discovery wants to reboot. CW has a Batman and HBOMax series has another Batman.

Flash needs to end with him coming back to the present and Batman is Pattison not Affleck. Superman and everyone else now exist and just weren't mentioned in The Batman.

Not every version of Batman meets other DC superheroes. In my opinion Batman works best with his own villains in Gotham compared to every other combination. Luckily for you, you already got that version of Batman, now pls let me have a different kind of Batman

My only complaint about the film was that it was too long. I wasn't ready for the rest of the movie once they caught The Riddler. Paul Dano was great btw, Riddler's one of my faves and he had a great portrayal.

Hot take here but I'd rather they not do a movie with Joker as the main villain. I'm a bit overexposed to the character atm and I think the Hannibal Lector role for him in that deleted scene is what I actually want them to do moving forward. I think that'd be a cool thing to try out.

Issue is they teased Joker and they Tease Hush. Thomas Elliot in the comic is Hush. The reporter they killed last name is Elliot. That would change his backstory a bit. Also this movie is sort of like Hush storyline as well.

I just don’t think the next one is going to be another 7 type movie. Nor will it be Hannibal.

I rewatched Batman begins last night and that movie is super under rated.

Anyone watch Uncharted? I thought it was ok but would have been infinitely better if 12 year old Tom Holland wasn’t Nathan Drake

I rewatched the batman now it can be streamed and boy, it has zero rewatchability. Found it so boring.
I really enjoyed it in cinema but yeah, it doesn't compare to any of the Nolan trilogy movies IMO.

I’m so sick of Hollywood churning out superhero movies. We don’t need the same story and tropes repackaged every year.

Big movie studios won’t take risks with blockbusters anymore because people keep spending money to watch this redundant drivel. I can’t imagine any serious actor wanting to take part in any of these movies if it wasn’t for the fortune they are no doubt ensured.

I’m sorry for the marvel/dc man-babies I’ve offended along the way  you do you I guess.

Good to know i am not the only one who feels like that. I was never a big fan of superhero movies but at first i could tolerate them. Now i have got entirely sick with the amount of superhero movies they make recently. I get it's easy money for the studios for obvious reasons but enough.
