The main problem I see is that after the initial reaction following the Dzeko 3-2 goal where we could have equalized, we did something we rarely do. Started pumping up crosses and then we lost all initiative and watched Milan pass the ball around.

We didn't have a player that could have kept the ball in our possession.

Good effort to keep it respectable, the scoreline flatters Inter tbh. Milan were quite wasteful despite being the better team by some distance.

The scoreline is exactly as it should be. Our keeper hardly had to make any good save, whereas during our only good 10minutes in the second half, we came to scoring 3 goals (equalizer for 3-3).

We were terrible - simple as that. If it was another better team, the scoreline could had been worse. Worse time to face Bayern Munich for sure!!

Still part of the coach's job to fix that obviously but we've had this issue in the first 1-2 months of a season for 3 years in a row now.

I think most of our players are overrated. Barella was eaten today by Tonali.. and frankly I never saw Nicolo step up in a big game. Same thing for Hakan ,Lautaro, Darmian, Di Marco and De Vrij.. they are mediocre at best and liability most of the time like today. Can’t blame Inzaghi because he dosnt have many options to change... Look at our bench, how pathetic is that! None of our players can make it in any of the top 10 teams. Currently we are at level of Napoli, Rome.. definitely we aren’t good enough to compete for scudetto.

Defense is an absolute mess right now. Our wingbacks add nothing either. More and more, it’s clearly evident how important Perisic was.

Milan is on another level to everyone else. Obviously it’s still very early days but they look like the clear favourite for the scudetto.

you obviously started watching Inter today. Barella has always been a big game player under Conte, he used to score/assist in matches against juve, Milan and Real. The players you listed were not mediocre under Conte, they actually won the scudetto. And If they are not performing now at the required level that's first of all on the coach. If someone is to be called mediocre that's Inzaghi. He is the epitome of mediocrity.
