Sorry mate, but the bold part is pure bullshit. Skriniar was from a nobody at Sampdoria to a worldclass at Inter. He would never earn that fatty paycheck had he not come to Inter. Tell me a bigger growth?

We gave him the Inter's captaincy. We offered him the maximum that our current situation could allow. And "Inter treated him badly"? Really?

Come on, I understand our management did not handle the situation well here. But please don't react as if Skriniar is a victim and the rest (fans including, you said) are garbage. He was a fucking liar about his "love" for Inter to build an icon for himself; then what, accepted the armband and signed for PSG shortly later. He could sign for whoever he wants, of course, but do NOT use Inter honor as contract leverage.
In Sampdoria he was probably best young CB in the world...He was dominating us when we played against Sampdoria,he was dominating German and English national teams as MIDFIELDER! If you believe that other big clubs didn't follow Skriniar at Sampdoria then you are wrong...

was he the most consistent player over the years? yea, perhaps, he and De Vrij were both pretty consistent. Same goes for Brozo, who had hot and cold spells and became consistent during Conte. Lautaro for sure. We know he has at least one bad spell during the season. I don't agree that he had just one good half season. Perhaps he had, idk, 3 good seasons, but its ok, i don't look at stats, so i dont know mate. And Bastoni not being important as Skriniar? LOL.. yea, if we don't have Bastoni, who will offer the extra help in attack, that Inter need? Why do most Inter attacks go through the left side? Why isn't Skriniar so up the field and on the positions Bastoni is in multiple times per game? You know why? Cause he ain't good at it, thats why. And i don't need to watch any stat sheet to see he is not a great passer, i can see it in games. His passes are often too fast and he's just not that good on the ball, sorry. This is no ''hate'', but just facts. He is probably a better defender than Bastoni, but for the Inter style of play, Bastoni is much more important. Thats why we domintated Atalanta, cause Darmian became similar to Bastoni and is actually good with the ball. But hey, enjoy watching Skriniar in France, i am sure his ''stats'' will look even better there.

honk, honk
So let me tell you fact,Bastoni is not even close to pass acuracy compared to Skriniar...His passes are fast and acurate, this how modern footbal looks like btw...Do you like slow and unacurate passes?
Do you question whether a big club like PSG can judge how a quality CB should look like? Even our management offered 6mil for him, but according to you Skriniar is nothing compared to Bastoni and Darmian?
You write absolute rubbish...

yes, Bastoni's passes probably have a worst % cause they are more risky and are performed in the attacking area. How many crosses does Bastoni have during a game, compared to Skriniar?.. Also, i did not say Skriniar is nothing compared to Darmian or Bastoni. I actually said he's a better defender than Bastoni, so don't put words in my mouth. All i tried to say was, we looked more fluid with 2 wide CB's that are good with the ball and can move forward... Also, I said he'll do fine in France, so yes, i am sure PSG did a good move, especially if they will play in a 4 man defense. I am also pretty sure I'd like Skriniar more if Inter played in that system.

oh, and btw, yes I can question if a ''BIG'' club like psg can judge players... Its not like all they buy turns into gold. There were bunch of times during their ''BIG'' era that they bought giant flops. Lucky for them, they have money, so they can spend 30M for trash players like Jese and Krychowiak and when these players don't perform, they just get another player. Its very fucking easy when you can spend money.

We paid a 23-year-old CB from Serie A, not Italian, 34M€. We wouldn't pay that much money for "nobody".

This feels so 2017 when his price went up every time someone mentioned it.

Now it's reached 34m

12m to be exact.

Inter Only Paid €12 M In Cash For Milan Skriniar

The signing of Slovakian center back, Milan Skriniar has been one of the best deals Inter has made in the last ten years. There is no doubt about his instant contribution to the squad, but what is incredible is the deal that took place. Calcio e Finanza published the financial statements of Sampdoria and the economic outlines of the transfer that took place over the summer.

The transfer was broken down as follows: Milan Skriniar cost Inter €5 million + Gianluca Caprari + €7 million in bonuses. To break it down a little further, Inter bought Skriniar for €20 million euros plus 6.93 in bonuses. On the flip side, Inter sold Gianluca Caprari to Sampdoria for 15 million euros.

To sum things up, Inter paid out €5 million cash to Sampdoria for arguably one of the best center backs in Serie A this season, who did not miss a single match. At the end of the season, the €7 million in bonuses were in effect, so the overall sale came out to €12 million.

He has the highest anticipation when it comes to tackling the ball. He has an excellent physique, I don't think there's anyone who can defeat him at shoulder to shoulder duels. He is fairly good in the air, can score headers when corners are taken. But passing/crossing? Please...

Apart from the fact that Skriniar almost never makes crosses because that's not his job...Why would a CB even make a crosses in the first place? But I can't help but mention his cross in the last match on Lautaro,it was pretty good what do you say you expert?
And to say that Skriniar's weak point are passes can only be said by an absolute fool or a person who calls football soccer...
Read this clowns... How could this even happen to player if his weak point are passes?

Bastoni makes crosses and long passes in order to score goals. And this works very well for him, as he has 5 assists so far. Skriniar's crosses are mostly when he wants to change the flank of the attack, and that rarely work. His passes are not exactly weak point, but most of them are safe. Gary Medel also had great percentage accurate passing, but 95% of his passes were side and backwards. Same with Skrinar.

Bastoni is a modern, offensively capable centerback. Skriniar is in-your-face, no-bullshit centerback of the older times. Eyetest of everyone watching Inter games can tell you this and no amount of stats will change it.

@varmin already explained the reason for the stats. Bastoni does offensive actions with the ball a lot more than Skriniar. This is purely because he has capability to do so. This is also why we don't see Skriniar doing forward runs to the box as ofter as Bastoni. Bastoni has better capabilities to do stuff with the ball. Skriniar is the guy who concentrates on hard-ass defending.

Bastoni got 7 asists in his whole carrer so stop your hyping BS...I don't deny that Bastoni has a great ability to centre the ball compared to other CBs... I'm just saying that to say that Skriniar's weakness is passing is total nonsense...Skriniar plays a little more safely compared to Bastoni but it also depends on the coach's instructions...Because if you check stats under Spalleti Skriniar was playing more forward then under Inzaghi...
These are the numbers for whole carrer...Look at progression stats... But you can see also passes by scrolling down and see that Skriniar has better accuracy in all short, medium, long passes than Batony...
