Apologies if this has been discussed before, but do we have any clear evidence Skriniar has a contract signed with ze french from the summer?
If not, as far as I'm concerned the beggars could still find the money to offer him a new contract?
Yes, I've had a few beers, pardon me
Steven can only offer Skriniar Inter themed key chain and a mug from Inter store.

Nasser Khelafi will buy Skriniar a brand new airplane and a Ferrari as a welcoming gift.

Jokes aside, we offered a great deal of money. But we should have offered a better deal 1 year ago. It doesnt matter the contract offer is 7M€ now. It was stupid to leave it so late so thats that.

Skriniar will soon be back in the lineup.

His time at RCB should be over. We're so much better both offensively and defensively with a RCB who can go forward. Don't know if he's good enough to replace De Vrij in that central spot either, considering how good De Vrij was there against Atalanta.

I don't know why most are blaming management only. Whether signing a contract or negotiating a transfer, it takes the staff and player to agree. The fact that he already signed with PSG should tell you all you really need to know. He never planned on staying unless we watched their offer (but I doubt he'd accept as there's a massive sign-on bonus), and I bet Nasser, that slimy fuck, told Skriniar he'd give him the €20m if he comes on a free to PSG.

The blame cannot solely rest on management (including Zhang), it's more like 30% management's fault and 70% Skriniar's fault. He pulled a Donnarumma.
FFP needs to change to account for transfers AND wages.

PSG annual wage bill is 101% higher than Inter's, higher than Man City, Real (33% higher), for a team that avgs 47k in attendance (their stadium holds 50k), and inflated commercial revenues because of Qatari-owned companies sponsoring them (Qatar Airways for eg: €70m/y for shirt), 4 other Qatari owned companies each give them roughly €10m/y each.

The FFP rules need to change. There is NO way ANY team can compete with these ridiculous sponsorships. Nasser controls UEFA, he flat-out said in an interview that Cefarin would remain UEFA President for as long as he sees fit. Now we have Chelsea spending €382m in a month on transfers, which puts them at an overall transfer balance of -€543.66m.

I want him gone if we can get money for him.

If you aren't with us you are against us ! What if we get PSG in a knockout round and this idiot score an own goal? Even by mistake.....
cmon mate it sounds you make Skriniar like a terrorist.

He is just a man who prioritize his family over anything.

You can call him a traitor, cunt, etc. But let's not play mental gymnastic and say that we are better off without him without a proper replacement.
Sit him in the stands until June, even without training, but make him come to work every day (just make him do nothing), play D'Ambro in his spot instead for the rest of the season. If you don't want to stay here, and have ALREADY signed a contract with another team while you hamstrung the club, while accepting the captaincy, then you don't deserve to play at all, again for the club.

Actually better yet, play him against Milan, but off the bench. Sub him in with 2 mins left in the game so the fans can say their piece. Then keep him in the stands for the remainder of the contract. It's not like we are depreciating an asset by doing so or he's having the most incredible season (he's avging a 6.4, more fouls, less clearances), so he's already checked out IMHO.

If we can't qualify for the CL next season without him, then it wasn't because of him, it's because the team failed to do so, and so be it.

Fuck the money. I'd rather he stay and rot for the rest of the season. I'm sick thinking of the times he wore the armband.

If he stays he should play. Help us get into champions league and past Porto.

Would love if we played Psg and knocked them out.

Yes and he will play. He just won't be the guy we rely on as much, he'll be a depth/rotation piece who gives us good shifts to avoid hurting his own value. This will work itself out I think.

Also I think it's fair to criticize them for not moving him prior. But what is ridiculous is them then losing him for a very small difference in contract demand. So the team deserves criticism for not having a plan long-term that made sense. I mean once you elect not to sell a player for a nice fee that means you're going to lock him up. Or you should at least. Decision makers need to take some lessons from all that.

I'm reading a lot of petty shit over here guys, sorry. What did we offer that he refused and what is psg offering? Some of you seem to be under the illusion that most Inter players are made from Javier Zanetti cloth, but that's why you have one Javier and a couple of other rare ones, that's why you need to appreciate them more. Nothing against Skriniar. Football nowadays is changed a lot from what we grew up with. There's no need for the scrutiny. And let's be honest, what happened with Perisic? We don't exactly have the best directors and president - Moratti doesn't own this club anymore - even Suning and Zhang they're trying their "best" and obviously they want to make money ultimately while PSG and Mac City are on 'give me story' mode every time they play on the mercato. They don't have a father's dream/legacy that Jose Mourinho finally delivered for him. If he's to leave, I wish him all the best in his career - players need to make money too, and would be plain idiocy to even consider doing things like some here are suggesting. Let him rot in the bench, bla blah blah. Take it easy bros

The bolded part is false.
PSG is offering in excess of the wage, a €15-20m sign-on bonus. That in itself far exceeds what Inter can offer him.

Freeze him out for the rest of the season and bring him on as a sub on the 90th minute @ the last home game.

Jokes aside, it will be interesting to see whether Inzaghi will use skriniar or not.

He is ‘such an interista’ he needed some time, for not going to PSG right away and have to wait for 6 more months.

I know, i know we can read this statements in different ways. But fuck him for this. I mean, is it such a punishent to stay here a little longer? What a cunt he is…

Once again, nobody criticizes Skriniar that he wants to leave for a better salary, but the way how he did it.

Wait 6 more months then that transfer fee would flow directly to his bank account instead of Inter's pocket. That was his intention from the begining. Remember how PSG's president words last summer, Skriniar reached the agreement back then.

I would have made the same money choice (who not?!?), but in a more respectable way...At least do not spam bullshit about new Hamsik to fans and do NOT receive Inter's captain armband. Tell the club sooner so that another deserved one would wear it.

I seem to recall on the extension efforts the two sides were relatively close. But then perhaps my wife is right that I am old with a poor memory.

These mumbo jumbo reactions about freezing out Skriniar until the end of season is gonna change soon when Darmian makes "a" mistake.

He should get back into the first team. He's our best defender. You guys can continue crying about him not being an Interista here, but as long as he's here he should contribute.

I've said even during summer window that Skrinar will be beast as central defender in the middle, but he is not so good as RCB. For me, as overall contribution, the best is Bastoni not Skriniar.
