I think all of the FIF members forgot that if Skriniar goes to let’s say PSG or Real… it’s not written in stone he will be starter in those clubs?

Real have great defenders like Militao, Rudiger, Alaba and PSG has Ramos, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mukiele and they play with 4 at back. So there will be much more competition for minutes and really little room for errors. But at Inter Skriniar is automatic starter if fit and captain and fan favorite. At Real or PSG he will be just another player…

At Inter every player is for sale and that is true for 99% of clubs in the world. Every players has a price if you don’t play for Mancity, PSG, MaUtd, Real, Barca, Liverpool, Bayern and they don’t want to sell a player.
Actually PSG play 3 at the back - Ramos, Marquinhos, and Kimpembe.

Aaah… good to know. I though Galtier mostly use 4-backline? Atleast he used that in the past. My bad (y)

Maybe we could have known if he would renew at 6M by just giving him the fucking offer.

With what money? We could realistically be offering this just because we made it out of the group in CL that's how fucking poor this club is.

At the end it's Zhang who is making us a joke.... I don't think marotta or ausillio are known for not offering renewals and then suddenly just decided to start that. Out club is in the shits financially and that won't be fixed until we sell the club to owners who can invest

The guy wants competent team to win major titles again( Euros or World Cup is impossible for him so the next in line is CL) to get paid premium. Obviously the club and him are haggling over bonuses, because Skriniar sees that those high bonuses won't be met with signins like Bellanova and Mikhy. He either wants 7.5M net or else its PSG oil cash. Inter is probably offering 6 + 1.5 bonuses or even less.

We all hope it all ends like Brozovic, but prepare for the worst.

It's quite difficult choice for Skriniar.

Option 1: Stay here which means less money, less chances for trophies as long as Suning are here but get a legendary status. All fans adore him, he is the captain and onr of the pillars of this team.

Option 2: Go to PSG which means more money, definitely more trophies but there he will be just one of many good players. Also, I doubt he would reach the same status as if he stays in Milano.

However, let's not forget that we treated him like shit a couple of transfer windows and were ready to sell him to the first team that gives a good offer. Given this circumstances, I would not blame him if he decide to leave.

I imagine that therein lies the problem. There are no guarantees that we won't attempt to sell him again if he extends now. At least this way he gets to go on his own terms, with a higher salary than if he was to be pawned off next year.
We already established how our management isn't exactly hands-on with our players.

Do we sell for €30m? Doubt they'll go up to €40m unless we can start a bidding war. Anything over €40m is extremely unrealistic imho

anything over 10m tbh
For anything under €20m it's not worth it because it jeopardizes our CL qualification (hence future income).

Finishing in the CL places in Serie A and maybe making it past Porto is worth way more than €20m. I'm not sure it's more than €30m, though. €40m is fair I'd say. Then again, the player would just wait it out and get more money as signing bonus, so perhaps all this speculation is moot.

INTER FANS IN THE SUMMER "DONT SELL SKRINIAR FUCK THIS CLUB"

INTER FANS IN JANUARY "WHY DIDNT WE SELL SKRINIAR IN THE SUMMER FUCK THIS CLUB"

Football is not a black and white game maybe they thought he would renew at 6M maybe they were shopping him and felt disrespected by psg maybe zhang had told them they would have more to renew with.... Who knows regardless its easy to always speak in hindsight 90 percent of you were losing your shit if he had been sold in the summer.
We would have lost our shit but the management would have told that there weren't economic conditions to keep him (new contract). And that's it. The thing is you need to know before the 2nd of September if he's gonna renew or not.

If Skriniar leaves, it's only for the money. I respect his decision irregardless of what it will be.

Because

?

Problem with Skriniar isn't a matter of money, but we've also allowed it to become one since PSG got cocky and saw a crack opening wide and poached.

Inter players should never be put in a position to be poached by any club in the world. That's been our status since forever and it should remain as such. If Marotta and Zhang cannot guarantee that, they should reconsider their positions.
I agree with you, but how you can protect player to not be pouched by other club? There must be other regulation by UEFA. It is not complicated to sort these issues, but UEFA is not interested. Until they apply Salary limit for all clubs, just few rich clubs benefit from this mess. Players agent, can not be paid more than 1-2% from transfer, and for example, no one club can spend for players salary (per year) more than some amount (200M, 250M...).

Does not matter how rich is owner. There is FFP. This is mistake by management. They should evaluate before, what is his market value, and offer him new contract 2021. Not wait last minute. Also, I believe, this is Steve' mistake. Beppe is to long in this business to make such a big mistake.

I think it will be much easier for Skriniar if a 3rd option appear :
Real Madrid comes in, less money compare to PSG but still more than inter, trophies, fame, competitive squad & no fear of being sold every season..

Another reason why Suning has to sell the club. Our best players won't stay. I'll be shocked if he signs. Won't hold anything against him if he leaves. He wants to win!!
