Biasin said he asked Ausilio about Skriniar and he responded they believe they have made a very good offer and the player has a deadline till the end of the year to respond.

This should be the maximum though. If he declines, ship his ass off in the winter transfer window and get some money.

I've almost totally discounted the hidden meanings of social media posts since this forum nearly went down in flames because Wanda once posted a picture of a zebra in an Instagram post, but Barbora posted this with the song "I Won't Let You Go To Paris" playing in the background.

Cringe, but this is all the hope we can cling to right now.
I also saw this on Instagram and thought it was bullshit so I googled it

The song is simply called “I won’t let you go” and not “I won’t let you go to Paris”. In fact there’s zero mention of Paris anywhere in the lyrics.

I think some guy made a joke, inserting Paris into the song and people took it at face value.

Oh, look. We're embarrassing ourselves again.

So glad we declined a 50M offer for Skriniar in the summer, only to fail to even put up a fight for the Scudetto and then losing him for free. This management is incompetent - full stop.

It's ironic when you guys start your sentence with "We declined xx offer in the summer" when that was exactly what you all wanted.

I mean complain about losing Skriniar all you want but leave the summer's offers out of this, because they just make you look stupid.

No, absolutely not. There were two acceptable outcomes this summer, and we accomplished neither. We should have offered Skriniar a contract extension in the summer, and had two options:

1) If he accepted, had it signed before the season started
2) If he declined, shipped him to PSG

Any other outcome is incompetence by management. This isn't a Thiago situation where the player told the club he's leaving no matter what.

I read yesterday that he has not yet renewed his contract because he fears that Inter will not be competitive enough. That is a fairpoint from him and I think he has valid doubts about it. Although that is always the question if you can earn so much more at another club.

But completely agree with ADRossi. There were only 2 acceptable outcomes this summer and we did jack shit.

I’m confident Skriniar will renew. It seems he has settled to Inter and city of Milan. He is/will be the captain at Inter and what is unlikely at other teams like PSG if he moves. He will earn good money with new contract at Inter and it seems to me Skriniar is not one of those players who is prioritising money first? All the top clubs in Serie A are pretty bad condition, but Serie A is very competitive league and Inter have one of the strongest teams in the league and we most likely will have CL games in the future.

But if the unthinkable happen and Skriniar decides to leave, so be it. Our managment have made a move and have offered good contract to him and have put captains armband on him and you can’t do much more that that for a player! I don’t think Skriniar is that butt hurt from what happened last summer and it’s pretty normal good players get good offers and clubs and players will always consider them as they should. I don’t think Skriniar is stupid and he gets where the club is financially.

I'm basically agree with your point about Skriniar, but there's one thing that you forgot to mention.. If Skriniar decides to renew, is there any guarantee that Inter wont try to sell him again like they always do?
I kind of imagine that is one of the things that in Skriniar mind right now..
And i also think that Skriniar take his time to agree or not agree to the contract extension because he also wait for a better club to offer him, i'm pretty sure if suddenly Madrid offer him lower salary than what PSG offer him but still above what inter offer he will go there..

I think all of the FIF members forgot that if Skriniar goes to let’s say PSG or Real… it’s not written in stone he will be starter in those clubs?

Real have great defenders like Militao, Rudiger, Alaba and PSG has Ramos, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mukiele and they play with 4 at back. So there will be much more competition for minutes and really little room for errors. But at Inter Skriniar is automatic starter if fit and captain and fan favorite. At Real or PSG he will be just another player…

At Inter every player is for sale and that is true for 99% of clubs in the world. Every players has a price if you don’t play for Mancity, PSG, MaUtd, Real, Barca, Liverpool, Bayern and they don’t want to sell a player.

If the situation is bad, and Inter cannot match the Skrinar's demands, why not just to insert a release clause around 60 mln, which is not a big deal for rich clubs, but in the same time will allow us to get more money, instead to lose him for free or sell him in January with a discount?

Ermm

Because
Inter cannot match the Skrinar's demands
?

Problem with Skriniar isn't a matter of money, but we've also allowed it to become one since PSG got cocky and saw a crack opening wide and poached.

Inter players should never be put in a position to be poached by any club in the world. That's been our status since forever and it should remain as such. If Marotta and Zhang cannot guarantee that, they should reconsider their positions.

Well, I meant that if the distance is not so big, he could sign, and with not so high release clause, he can guarantee that Inter won't stop him it someone is ready to offer him much better terms. There is PSG, of course, but if Skrinar wanted so much to go there, he would have pushed for this transfer last summer.

That`s not his problem. Club is in charge of sales, he can only gain if he signs the extension (higher salary).
He can always reject other offers. If he ever decides to leave, he will do so on a bigger salary. WIN/WIN.

GdS: “The last summit was held in the Inter headquarters in the utmost secrecy, offered 6 million net.
After a couple of hours of discussions, Inter and Sistici (Skriniar's manager) have decided to meet again after the holidays, will talk about it in mid-January."

Translation:
- The offer is still the 6 million one, there is still some distance

- Working on bonuses

- Update (in or out) before the team leaves for Saudi Arabia

"But wasn't it supposed to be by Christmas?" > And you too are not entirely wrong.
It seems that this will further drag on. For me this shows that Skriniar wants to stay but wants to squeeze the max out of this contract, just like Brozo did.

Reports now saying there’s been another U-turn and optimism is spreading that Skriniar will re-sign
It`s Stevie Wonder and his bday party antics that convinced Milan to stay :yao:

Bastoni literally has Steven in his pocket, guess who will get an extension next?

INTER FANS IN THE SUMMER "DONT SELL SKRINIAR FUCK THIS CLUB"

INTER FANS IN JANUARY "WHY DIDNT WE SELL SKRINIAR IN THE SUMMER FUCK THIS CLUB"

Football is not a black and white game maybe they thought he would renew at 6M maybe they were shopping him and felt disrespected by psg maybe zhang had told them they would have more to renew with.... Who knows regardless its easy to always speak in hindsight 90 percent of you were losing your shit if he had been sold in the summer.

Maybe we could have known if he would renew at 6M by just giving him the fucking offer.
