Oh shut the fuck up, why do we always have to chase away a fan of other clubs? Treat people with respect until they don't treat you with respect, then do whatever you want. I don't think we have to be toxic like that, that's reserved for the AC Milan forums.

Having a Member of Forza Inter Forums say "we" and "us" while speaking about fucking Juventus is the ultimate disrespect. I get that most of the culture of being an Inter fan is alien to you, but don't try to patronize people over it with politically correct bullshit.

Barca's scouts were in the Roma game to keep an eye on him. Some say Barca will be willing to offer more than 120m for his services !!

Everyone has a price. I hope we don't sell him, but I can't blame the club if they cash out for that high a sum. A 100m+ profit can go a long way from FFP point of view. If the 'profits' are used to justify the purchase of a couple of world class players, I can understand the decision.

Sure everybody has a price and all but i strongly disagree with this on Skriniar.I am certain we can command that fee for Skriniar in about 3-4 years time too.If FFP must be solved then imo we need to sell other players to fix that.He is 23 years old with atleast 10 years at the top left in his tank.At the bare minimum we must keep him here for another 5 years.Make him the vice captain already and groom him for captaincy.I prefer Icardi being sold in the next 2-3 years when clearly he should be declining[even if he is not for that matter for he doesnt depend on his pace] rather than Skriniar.

The only unsellable player in our squad is Skriniar for me and we must give him a fantastic pay rise and seduce him with the captain's armband for as long as we can. This realism about everybody has a price must in this case be trumped by sentimentality.

I'm a little worried about the message of selling Skriniar, tbh. I'd sell anyone else - including Icardi - before him. The only scenario in which I can accept selling him is 2-3 really good young CBs identified to replace him

Technically he isn't wrong, should he refer to his team in third person?

I love me some Mauro, but I think (if he stays) Skriniar has captain written all over him. Agreed that he should be the last one sold, but he's probably also our most valuable player. Icardi is going for around 110m, but I think we can force something like 150 for Skriniar.

In terms of possible replacements, I mentioned it in the Serie A thread, but Andersen at Samp is really something. Also, if we do get 150 for Skriniar, throwing 60 of those at De Ligt wouldn't be unwise; whether he would actually come here is another thing entirely. Finally, I really liked Pavard at the WC, he was playing RB but he's usually a CB.

I'd still rather give Skriniar 4-5 million and a 200m release clause though.

120 from Barca? Pass. Selling core players is risky anywhere, but selling core players at a club with chronically inept leadership is self-sabotage. The first heard on the chopping block must be Perisic. No other player is so consistently useless yet retains a high market value. After him, I'd look to sell good but replaceable players like Politano and Vecino before touching Icardi and Skriniar. This guy just can't leave, he's unbelievable. I don't see any center back his age who is at his level. No one we could get with 120 would be as good. Give him his fully deserved 5m

If we sell Skriniar (and/or Icardi) for whatever sum we deserve to be irrelevant for another decade.

I m not really concerned with losing him or icardi. Yes they are extremely important players but i dont think suning will sell them unless they want to leave even if a very good offer arrives. I mean suning has given 0 indications of being willing to sell key players thus far. Last summer we could have sold perisic and solved a lot of our FFP problems but suning did not give a fuck, they rather found some other way to handle FFP than selling a key player. Same goes for Icardi by the way, they could have sold him and got rid of all the restrictions and i m sure there were offers good enough to relieve us from FFP constraints but it looks like it never was even up for debate.

So with suning acting like this when we actually had financial constraints and selling a key player would have resolved a lot of our problems, i just dont see why they would go on and sell key players now that we re seemingly out of those extreme financial constraints.

Not saying there is no way we ll lose him, but imho it s gonna take an absolute insane offer or Skriniar forcing his way out for it to happen and in both those cases i would be kind of ok with it.
SAme goes for any other top player we currently have.

It's ironic since no one can breakthrough him. :troll:
