Is there a way I can go to the latest post of a thread directly in “What’s New” section?

In the old forum there’s a gold arrow icon (iirc) that if we press it it will lead to the latest post of that thread.

Now in the phone version I cant seem to go to the latest post, instead it leads me to the first page of the thread and then I’ll have to go to the last page to see the last post.

If there's new posts in the thread then clicking on the title takes you to the first unread post. If there's no new posts then clicking on the thread title takes you to the first post. To go to the latest post, click the time under the thread title, i.e. '10 minutes ago' if it was recent or the date/time if it was longer ago.

It’s gonna take sometime to digest the changes but it looks nice. It’s like having FIF light, like getting a new LED HDTV after two decades of having a Box TV.

Have a little suggestion but it’s no big deal, the “report “ button is too close to my thumb scrolling down pages on my phone screen, sometimes I’m tempted to just click it on every post (evillaugh) can we have it to the right side and maybe get the new “like” button to the left? If it’s a long process then it’s no big deal. Everything else looks nice.

Thanks count gone - hard work of past years lost... Glad I`ve made it in the top as consolation.

Was surprised to see how generous I was giving Thanks, so thanks for sharing these stats.

Played a couple of days with it and I believe the change has more benefits, so it was a good move. Should be also safer against potential attacks, as I heard the previous one was prone to cracks.

Honestly, I would rather get rid of the thanks counting rather than readopting it. I like people showing their true oppinions and not oppinions based on the amount of thanks to be possibly received. I am probably very alone with this thought.

I see your point, makes sense. Well since the Thanks are lost already, I won`t mind dropping this Like system for good. However, sometimes it`s a good way of seeing which posts are worth reading, in case someone skimming through. We should perhaps have a poll?

Where do you find those thanks given and received? Please help a young man out.

Btw, I think my ratio of thanks given and received is the best one out there. Big shout out to MVD for making me seem like someone who gets alot of thanks

Imo, the thank/like feature is an extremely simple and useful way to show that you agree with a post. If it didn't exist, every time you agreed with someone, you'd have to either post reply saying that you agree or do nothing at all. And doing nothing reduces interaction (and interaction is why we are all here after all).

I mean look at brehme, who has forced upon himself the rule of not thanking posts. Poor guy literally had to post a reply just to say he agrees with you

What I wouldn't oppose tho is removing the likes count under the avatar.

We need new buttons then. If we have a thank for an agree, we need a "disagree" too.

Also I didn't use the thank button only with those posts I agreed. It might have been for a useful info or it was funny or whatever.
