On the contrary once they fully heal ACL is rarely a problem again and if they can get back to previous form they are the perfect buying opportunities, with lower cost.

Remember Ronaldo after he went to Real for example.
On the contrary again, as someone who has done his acl it's way more likely to happen again. And your knees can really only take 2 or 3 tears max. I've did it 3 times.
The possibility of getting back to previous form is low as well because it sets you so far back. There's a reason 20/30 years ago this injury caused retirement.

Ouch.

This is also why Roberto Baggio and Ronaldo remain the greatest players we've seen since Maradona.

They got Gosens who's great. If they renew Perisic, with Onana coming in, that puts Inter quite close to a higher level than where they are atm

Brozovic, Bastoni, Barella are all staying. That's pretty awesome imo

I feel we are one inspired signing away from being very competitive. Someone like Lukaku, but cheeper...easier said than done though
We need way more than that to improve the team. Not only we need to improve our bench, we need players who could challenge our current starting 11 for a spot.

How many times did Ronaldo do his acl? His second knee injury wasn't acl?

Those two were already the best before their knee injuries, and are incredibly technically gifted.

Not the same for everyone ofcourse, but the vast majority are never the same after. Maybe now with the advancement of sports science, but still a big risk.

Baggio was 17 when he got it the first time. Was told he couldn't play at all.

Not sure on Ronaldo, it was the knee for sure but which part not sure.

Baggio was one of a kind. He was playing with pain for most of his career. There are no Baggios in the footballing world anymore.

Yeah I don’t think Baggio would make it under modern games

If he was playing now he'd have a billion fanboys calling him the greatest of all time.
Not sure if people these days can appreciate him as he wasn't exactly fast. People's mind these days : speed&strength >>>>>> elegance

He was Messi in an era of high foot tackling and constant man marking playing with half a leg.

I think he'd manage to get appreciated.

Is it possible to sell Lautaro, De Vrij, Sensi and Pinamonti and to bring in Raspadori, Bremer, Scamacca and Frattesi?

Not likely but also not unimaginable

Why? Football IQ, and the presence of mind to slow the game and create magic is something that will always be needed.

Its rare and hard to find players like this but they're diamonds in your squad. I put Zidane and Totti in the same breathe.

I just have really bad feeling about both Scamacca and Raspadori. Both seem too average and raw, but big fee.

Bremer will be costly but seem to have everything we need.

Frattesi seems to be decent option for Vecino/Vidal but again Roma will have that cut of his price so that deal will not be so easy to make and might increase his price?

I agreed with assessment on his injuries, it would break him more nowadays. I can see Fati is on that road as well

In all seriousness there have to be a few decent players in those leagues that could help any side. I don’t know who they are to be honest but I’m sure there’s a few.
