Out of those City players, I would go for Bernardo Silva, and he isn't even in form right now. But Inter won't go for those players, I can see Milan going for De Bruyne

Depends what City will ask for them
Youngster's policy or not i don't see Marotta not trying to snatch one of those in case they are out on a bargain deal ( which probably won't be the case)

Villa Grealish in a 3-4-1-2 is my dark fantasy that would fail. Sucks he’s well past it. Look forward to him going down in the Premier so I can watch that again.

Beppe is into Evolution not Revolution!
True, he just said it himself:
“There’ll be no revolution. We’re looking at the future, but keeping our squad intact is a reason of pride since it was successful. We’ll slightly change our MO because we want to invest in youngsters who could become assets for the club and add quality. The average age of Serie A sides has decreased, but we don’t foresee ousting all our veterans. We’ll assess each one on his own. Our objectives will be the same since winning is in our DNA.” - Don Beppe
Marotta sounded skeptical about Inter making pricey deals without cashing in on anybody.
“All Italian teams must lean on player trading, which means taking advantage of sales to turn a profit and reach economic sustainability. We’re not saying we’ll do anything for sure, but certain things can only be pulled off by keeping an eye on the future and making the math work.” - Marotta
The Inter president was quizzed about the future of Simone Inzaghi.
“We haven’t discussed a renewal with him for now. There’s no need to have doubts when things are going well. Our analysis is objective. We can guarantee that his cycle isn’t over by a long shot.”
Sell Asllani and Frattesi this summer.

Do it yourself. Put it as your signature. Why asking it from others when you feel so confident about it. And then we will see who's right.
Just saw this, I thought you were being humorous. I didn't say you are wrong. For the record, I think he will start next season too LOL

Bastoni&Barella
During the international break I thought about our upcoming summer mercato.

Our backline is the least concerning aspect of our squad in terms of our style of play, in my opinion. With Pavard, Bisseck, Bastoni, Carlos (possibly Palacios), and one of de Vrij or Acerbi, we only need one more central center-back.That player must be comfortable in one-on-one duels, unafraid to step up and press, strong in the air, and capable of playing good forward passes. I don’t think we need a young prospect for that position. Considering those qualities, Beukema would actually be a good choice. Gila would also be a great option.

With Dumfries, Darmian, Carlos, Dimarco, and possibly Zalewski, we are well covered in the wingback positions. However, I do think we lack certain specific qualities there. It would be great to have a more attack-minded player—someone fast, a decent dribbler, and capable of beating his opponent one-on-one. A player like Dorgu would have been a great fit. Ndoye could have been an interesting option too, although he hasn’t played as a wingback since his Basel days. Having such a player would give us an extra dimension when chasing a goal or counterattacking.

In midfield, we clearly lack a backup for Hakan. Ricci and Rovella check all the boxes, but they are quite expensive. Besides that, we’re missing creativity and a player who can beat his man through dribbling. Sucic seems best suited for the mezzala role, so a vice-Barella as a Frattesi replacement appears to be covered. Paz would be a dream signing—he offers everything we need in a Mkhitaryan replacement: a strong ball carrier, creativity, and good dribbling ability. However, that seems very unlikely. Pellegrini could be a suitable alternative, although he has been in decline over the last few seasons (as was Zielinski, for example, and that didn’t work out well). Baturina or Güler could be alternives. But can they play in the role Inzaghi wants?

In attack, we lack three things: a goal scorer off the bench, pace and dribbling ability, and a target man who allows us to play long balls. Samu Aghehowa checks a lot of these boxes—he’s quick, a good finisher, and fast—but we can’t afford him. Two players who could be interesting on loan are Højlund and Núñez. Højlund is fast, strong, a capable scorer, and has good dribbling skills. Núñez, on the other hand, struggles with finishing. We also have David and Castro, who could provide both goal-scoring ability and solid rotation options for Lautaro. Then there’s someone like Lucca, who could serve as a target man. But that’s it really.

To add things up. I would like something like this: Beukema, Ricci, Paz (or Pellegrini / Güler), Castro and Højlund (more realisticly Lucca).

Not a bad list of incoming players. I would add that Krstović (or Zirkzee  ) could also be a good move to complement this squad.

If we aren't selling Hakan, going for Ricci or Rovella just don't seem like shrewd moves. So instead going for another regista type, I'd rather go for another attacking RWB.

We don't know if Acerbi and Darmian are leaving Inter this summer, that worries me a bit.

Krstovic is also one to watch indeed. He could play as a targetmen too. I like him more than Lucca. But what worries me (same with Lucca) he only scored 5 goals from open play.

I’m confident we gonna land Castro. I don’t see room for Zirkzee in that case. And although I would love a good extra option on RWB, the options are very limited there. Maybe Zerbin could be a decent one? He wouldn’t cost too mutch. But I haven’t seen enough of him to from a decent opinion.

If Asllani doesn’t step up, we do need a good Hakan backup imo. And that will cost us most probably.

So we are looking for a new CB, RWB, MF and 2 forwards. I assume we will sell Frattesi, Asllani, Taremi. Imo we can keep Acerbi/DeVrij, Mkhi, Darmian, Arnautovic for another season.

Am I missing something?

Not sure we will sell Asllani. Or keep Arnautovic.

Asllani has to go, regardless of what happens in midfield. He's just not good enough for Inter. He may develope into a great player in future, who knows, but Inter cannot wait any further for his development and immediate impact. Let him find himself in any other destination where he has bigger opportunities. Not just playing time, but also psychological aspect, commiting errors and learning from them, less pressure/expectations and so on.

Being a regista at this side of Inter is a very delicate role, and is making him look like a bad player, which in reality he's not. He's just not ready for such a challenge.

I would also sell Zielinski and Frattesi. The latter is not suited to Inter's style of play, and the former seems rather disinterested to redeem himself. We could argue all day about their lack of playing time and everything else, but the real mirror of the situation seems like both of them aren't meant to succeed here, due to many reasons, but most importantly is that both of them are underwhelming whenever they're playing.

We need fresh blood and also a real impact from the bench.

Sucic seems like an interesting addition, but we need more. These names I have on my mind are either unrealistic or unlikely to leave their respective clubs, so I hope our management will address the issues of midfield which are quite obvious.

I would do all that if it's possible. Zielinski hasn't looked great except like few matches in the whole season. His contract is quite big so it's possible deadwood later if he doesn't pick it up. Let's hope he does, or we manage to get rid of that paper.

Asllani out yes as @Besnik explained. Frattesi also due to high money we can get from the sale.

I would also try to get rid of Taremi but don't know if we have budget to replace him. Maybe Seba Esposito would be one cost-wise but we might want to go for different player style-wise, more bigger guy.

Lots of things to do in the summer, and now already.
