Probably media bullshit. The real reason is only because we have more suitable targets. According to the media just in case De Vrij leaving for Saudi Arabia, Inter first choice for replacement is Kim Min-jae. But he and Hermoso have only...1 year of age gap.Is anyone else worried about Marotta & Aussilio finding "proper" reinforcements for the team, and Oaktree once again declines with "No, we're looking for young players". It's like they're on completely different wavelengths. Or it is all more or less media bullshit?

please tell Oaktree to stop their younger profile BS. Talented young players are expensive af these days, and they can still flop. For other young players, at least 90% of them will never reach our bench level.
If you want young players, then invest the fucking money. Otherwise, better let Marotta and Ausilio do their jobs.
Too young, not good enough, sorry. There is another solution it’s called integrating primavera players into the squad instead of loaning them out, I know it’s a foreign idea.

About Oaktree, it seems they have a progressive thinking about how a football club is run. Everyone would agree that ideally a team should have a younger average age. We too want to sign a prospective young players, but we are also realistic with our financial situation. Thus Oaktree also must provide solutions (read: a lot of funds) to achieve that goal. Their idealism would be but a daydream if they do not backup our finance.

Yes, but your solution is not a solution. Integrating Primavera players to the first team doesn't work if those players simply aren't good enough. Which they aren't at the moment (and has never been apart from few outliers). You’re never going to solve that issue if you do not improve on it, the loaning out system has failed, whit the almost 0% success rate.

If you outlaw loans small clubs will die. They can't afford owning 25 players while maintaining a respectable level
