I'm not going to prejudice a new Inter player based on his political background. Either he scores the important goals that we've missed or gets kicked out of the club next summer at max. He's brought here to do more than Sanchez/Arnautovic so he better be up to the expectations.

Well, after that explanation I can completely understand why someone don't want him here and for sure will not fight with them about that. I didn't want Modrić here either for what he did. There was no way I would continue watching games if he signed back then. Thankfully it never happened.

Well. You can make similar argument about Mkhitaryan. Although Armenian regime was as not bloody as Iranian one for over 20 years, the level of corruption was through the roof when he captained Armenian NT for over 10 years. His mom worked as the head of Armenian federation, while the guy who run Armenian football was a bloody asshole with nickname Nemets Rubo, who owned Pyunik FC, where Miki got his start before moving to Ukraine.

Please let us not discuss here whether we should support certain players because of their political preference. These discussions are not as black and white as we would like them to be. As long as players behave in the Inter shirt and give everything on the field, I don't really care what a player's political preferences are.

We don't even know about most of them and I don't want to know either. I encourage them as football players and not as politicians or supporters of a certain regime. Unless they openly support violence, torture, etc., it should not matter whether someone is politically left or right oriented.

In this specific case we should mainly worry about how many beautiful Persian women will support Inter. That's a much nicer topic to discuss.

Yes, but criticizing the government that was handpicked by the regime, it's still brave.
no,it's like critisizing your younger brother. you need to live in a shit hole like ours to understand that.

You can live anywhere to understand the rich has vastly different political interests than the commoners, it's not that deep.

As long as a player dos not openly support questionable causes or views or in other way heavily show or act in a way that it can only be interpreted in such a way, I can not object against them on such premises. Then I can only object on the premise of sporting or financial reasons and this is my objection in this case, I just don’t see him delivering anymore then what we already went through with the other two guys whose names should not be named.

Yeah, what a lovely guy that supports a regime that blind, rape and kill people for mere protesting.

for someone from Argentina..... :) ... look man why do most South Americans not look like Bolivians :)

Lets not get political here but for a South American country that is mostly white to says stuff like that is funny. We had 0 white people 400 years ago. They didnt do that by being nice

I'm positive on the guy. Sounds he will give 100 percent, unlike Correa.

It will be interesting to see how he will adapt to Serie A football at his age. Given it’s the first time he will play in a top league. Bigger talents than him didn’t fulfill the promise after they moved from Portugal.

But i will happily let him surprise me, given the fact these ‘oldies’ we have got over the past year rarely disappoint (and I’ve barely seen Taremi play).
