I dont know what Mancini's plan is but with Grosso and Maxwell Inter will have two of the most offensive LBs in the league.

Here is to hoping that he has fully recovered from that knee injury and performs well. Perferably at a more advanced position than LB.

h1- thinks that Maxwell looks great in this pic. He thinks the lad has a great fashion sense, and that Milan is the perfect city for him.

He likes him already.

Welcome Maxwell :star:

Indeed, I had been dreaming of Maxwell signing since 2003  I always used to have him in my squad list when playing fifa and prosoccer, so one can imagine how happy I am with this transfer. Lets just hope that the best out of the two players will get to play.:)

I reply on the post of H1. ;)

Maxwell was one of the favourite players of the fans of Ajax. Always there for the club and fans.

He is an very technical left-sides player. He is at his best when he has the ball. He is fast, can dribble, and is very wel with his passing. He had the most assists every season. Allmost every season he was in the first three for best player of the season in Holland. Even in the Champions League he was one of the best players. I think he can become one of the best left-sided players of Europe. And i hope he can become the left-back of Brazil the comings years.

Maxwell is a world class player!

I want to believe every single bit of it as it sounds so damn good, but I am skeptical person by nature and will refrain from making such claims. He has shown he is a talented player in the Dutch league but as have many others and then proceeded to fail in other leagues around Europe.

I will hold you to every single bit of that though M23, especially the last statement.

I just hope that he won't turn out to be another 'Brechet', who was hailed as French Ligue 1's best left-back before he turn out to be a major failure in Inter.

Wonder if I can
Wow, inter.it put Maxwell between midfielders so it seems he will have more offensive role in Inter than in Ajax...:star:

:dielaugh: Hehe, you can’t blame us or the Inter management ;) he was a French sensation and was on stage for the France instead of the legendary Lizarazu (Anyone here read his blog?)

Semplice, diretto, molto concreto.

Well from what I could make out…
  • He’s thankful for the faith the Inter management showed in him, and Oriali highlights the fact we were interested in singing him way back in 2003/2004
  • He’s confirmed what all of us have been talking about, he can play in defense and in the middlefield. “Where or when I play is up to the coach, that’s my philosophy”
  • Thanks the underrated Franco Combi for helping him throughout his injury spell
  • Happy to have some competition from WC winner Grosso

Man Han why do you have to bring up bad memories. Remembering Brechet wearing the Inter jersey is not only disappointing but mildly revolting.

He has two great left backs, Grosso and him, the midfiel is packed with left midfielders, Figo or Deki or Cesar or Solari, if you are right then Mancio is a foolo!

Don't know if I'd label them (Grosso and Max) "great" but they're definitely better than years past that's for sure. I'm sure we'll both Max and Maicon play quite a bit on the wings this season.
