Apparently a great performance in the derby yesterday.

You know, if we’re going to be a clown club again, might as well bring him back and get the whole circus back together.
He probably has more to offer than Lukaku.

At least he can score. All these hold up play Lukaku supposedly offers is useless since he can't even trap the ball anymore lol

Icardi would be disgusting at the end of Barella's passes or Dimarco's cross if he has 25% of his Inter period ability left.

PERISIC IN ITALY TO TESTIFY AT TRIAL INVOLVING EX-INTER TEAMMATE ICARDI

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham star Ivan Perisic was in Milan today to testify at a trial involving his former Inter-teammates Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic and the ex-partner of the Argentinean striker Wanda Nara.

Brozovic, Icardi and Wanda have sued Italian paparazzo Fabrizio Corona who had claimed in 2009 that Wanda and Icardi had broken up because she had an affair with Brozovic.

The first hearing occurred in October, but neither Icardi nor Perisic, who is involved as one of the witnesses, showed up to a Milan court. For this reason, the Croatia international was fined €500.

Perisic testified in court on Wednesday before returning to London. Icardi trained with Galatasaray this morning and didn’t show up in Milan again, so his lawsuit will be automatically cancelled, leaving Wanda and Brozovic involved.

Icardi spent six years at Inter, scoring 124 goals in 219 games before joining PSG in 2019. He has recently split up from Wanda who was his wife and agent.
Icardi did not even bother...

The clash between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara continues to cause discussion. The last episode of the now over love story came from Jordi Martin, who revealed how the showgirl cheated on Icardi with Keita Balde Diao, a former Lazio and Inter footballer and Mauro's teammate in the Nerazzurri. As explained by Martin, Icardi would have discovered the betrayal thanks to some suspicious movements of Wanda's ATM and then through the home cameras, with Keita who would have been together with Wanda Nara one evening. In relation to this, Martin explained that the former Inter would have immediately contacted Keita's wife on social media to clarify the matter. Icardi was quick to respond. MAURITO'S ANSWER - On social media, Icardi is furious: "I'll spare you the clarification tomorrow morning, so you have time for other things... I only warned a poor cuckold that her husband won't stop writing to my wife (we are not divorced).I also have the messages, photos and everything he sent her in private messages on Instagram because my wife sent them to me (obviously I won't post them). I'm only posting tonight's chat with this girl and I want to clarify that I didn't have any arguments with Wanda because we stayed up until six in the morning talking on video call to organize the return of our children I also clarify that Wanda doesn't use my card at all because I have mine from an account we have in Argentina. Third and last thing, rest assured that from my environment no one will ever contact you and if it happens I authorize you to publish the proofs, but that they are better than what you have for treating me like a liar and for everything you take for granted
Icardi wasted a brilliant career for a slutty Wanda. Such an idiot.

I mean, it was funny to a certain extent years ago, but the man is 30 next month and is still acting, and is surrounded by people who act like, teenagers. It is really sad, particularly for those kids.

My bicycle mechanic once said in reference to his children "Show me your friends and I will show you your future".

That very much applies to Icardi because his wife and the people around him are absolute shit and he never tried (even to this day) to try and break away or separate himself from that. In fact, he plays into it and the state of his career is a reflection of his poor decision making.

How they're disrespecting my sweet prince :proud:

Comparing him to that shifty conceited waste of oxygen who played us for fools

Wish you left for greener grass for better pay to play with better teammates and win stuff when you had the chance in 2015 or 2016 or many other occasions

Maybe then you'd have your topic at LGI

But you chose to stay through the banter years, a relic of what this great club was once, filled our hearts once again with hope and excitement, became the embodiment of the great will of the fans of this club to once again rice from its ashes as it always did, put the club on your back and single-handedly clawed your way out of a mediocrity which at the time seemed eternal

And for that reason true Interisti will forever appreciate you 🖤💙

May you be happy wherever you are

As I mentioned in some other thread, I really like watching derbies and the Gala - Fener derby is one of my favorites. Both teams are great this year and the derby was a banger. Icardi was coming off an injury so he only got like 20 minutes, but he was able to score once and assist once in that time. He also apparently scored a brace for Gala in the other derby vs. Besiktas.

I was lately inspired to check out how he's been doing in Turkey. Apparently, after missing the first 8 games of the season due to not being in shape since forever, he became a mainstay in the Galatasaray lineup and helped them go on a 10-game winning-streak (still going btw) and rise up to the first place in the table from 8th. He has 6 goals and 5 assists in 742 minutes, that's a goal contribution every 67 minutes, which is absurdly elite.

He already attained cult status by scoring 4 goals and recording 3 assists in the three different important fixtures he played in. People worship him like some sort of prophet over there. Apparently he dyed his hair blond before his first derby and Gala fans are bleaching their hair as a gesture of love.

In other news, he already missed game time twice due to "breaking up with Wanda", even was allowed to leave training to go back to Argentina to "win her back" on one occasion, and was allowed to join training one day later than everyone else after a derby. He was also apparently "injured" during the WC break and asked to go back to Argentina to receive treatment. Missed the entire winter break training camp, along with a couple of games, and only came after Christmas and New Year's were over. There's much gossip about him and Wanda all over the news. There's also already gossip about him and a couple of models and actresses. He also seems to be enjoying the Istanbul nightlife scene and has developed a habit of sharing Instagram stories while clubbing at 4 AM.

Despite all this, he's become an instant icon amongst the Gala faithful. Kind of like Sneijder once did. Honestly can't imagine a better setup for him. It's clearly below his level and he's still not far off his prime, but he's loved and allowed to be the stupid man he is.

Finally, the obligatory highlights reel:

Galatasaray has many familiar faces from the Serie A, including Muslera, Oliveira, Torreira and Mertens

Also, the current talk of the town in the Turkish gossip column is the Keita Balde - Wanda Nara affair  and some shit Turkish Wanda-wannabe serenading Icardi lmao

Thanks for sharing, glad to see him back in shape and performing. Clearly that Turkish environment suits him well 😜

Still a better finisher than Lukaku! He seems to have even improved his left foot!!

Turkish league has always been a place for fallen stars to recover. Some of them even managed to come back to the top flight after their stints in SuperLig, like Anelka, John Carew, Kjaer to name few

shit person, but still a great attacker and finisher. Its crazy how good he is on crosses. If the whole management didn't hate him, i'd take him for a 1 year for sure. Couldn't be worse than Correa.

Can't say that the whole management hates him..

Can safely say that there's two people that don't want to work again with him. And I doubt Icardi wants a return as long as they're around.

And I'm not even sure if he'll be useful in this shape. He's become damaged goods.
