Much more money? Depends on what the offers may be, but I don't see many Chelsea players earning that much more than Perisic. The answer is actually just 2 and it could be more if the EUR/GBP fluctuates but as things stand, it's just two. He earns 4m plus bonuses until 2022 now. That's 155k per week in EPL terms. Courtois earns around as much. Fabregas earns slightly more and is the 2nd highest earner of the club whilst all of the following: Kante, Willian Cahill, Azpilicueta, Giroud and Morata earn slightly less. You think Chelsea will be paying Hazard money to Perisic? So no. There's no "much more money argument". There's not even "more money" argument.

More of a star team? Well, that's debatable. Depends what makes a star. And it also depends if that's a good thing or not. I mean, other than Hazard, no one else that Chelsea have is a superstar. They have good players, marketable players, well known players, but that's due to the league's exposure, not because they're actually stars. This isn't Chelsea of 2010. Only Hazard would create a marketing boost for Inter if we signed any Chelsea players.

Better league for Perisic to perform? Probably. Better league as in quality? Please...

If the argument is that it'll make him more famous, you have a point. But Perisic is introverted as fuck and I doubt he cares about glamour and money so much as he wanted to join Inter over a bunch of EPL clubs when he came to our lousy situation from Wolfsburg. And it's not like moving to London from Milano is such an upgrade for someone who's settled in fine in Milano. I'd agree that it's more appealing to people who haven't lived in either city but for guys like Perisic there's no point in using that as an argument because there isn't one. At least you didn't commit a 4th strike, but you're only allowed three anyway
