Yeah i think he's getting better n better as captain. And also as player i think. I remember reading an article last year about how we tend to underlook how professional icardi is. Last preseason he spent most of his time recovering from injury and missing most of our preseason friendly IIRC, and yet start the season he looked fit as hell and scoring immediately.

To me Icardi has already reached the level of Vieri and Crespo. He's also very marketable. The only reason why we're not benefiting from him as other clubs do and why he's still not as hyped as Neymar and Mbappe etc (minus the show skills) is because he still hasn't played anywhere outside Serie A in his entire career. No CL and no WC. Our squad also has always been way too weak.

Next season is the season where his hype and market value should go up (given that we don't embarrass ourselves in the CL group stage).
