It was Benzema, the one who scored that goal from Gutti's back-heel assist. He is not Gutti and Ronaldo was not there also, sad he didn't release it.
Darmian against City, Dumfries against Milan. I'll take that.
My Bad.It was Benzema, the one who scored that goal from Gutti's back-heel assist.
2026 Europa league here we go!BREAKING - OFFICIAL: As revealed in #Inter's 2023/2024 financial statements, Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have all had their contracts EXTENDED until June 2026.
my objection really is two things
1 - timing, why not wait until the end of the season? at his age, players can be prone to a sudden cliff in ability
2 - a statement of intent for inter. the extended players will be 38, 37, and 36 by the time they leave. to be formally locking them in already so soon i suspect means we wont see as much as we'd hope in rejuvenation funds.
I thought we already heard Mkhitaryan's extension through 2026 almost a year ago. Darmian is a little more of a surprise, the last announcement I'd heard was through 2025 (this season).
thats not so bad i guess, £500k a player if we decide to move them on and keep some certainty about our roster for next year.I thought we already heard Mkhitaryan's extension through 2026 almost a year ago. Darmian is a little more of a surprise, the last announcement I'd heard was through 2025 (this season).
EDIT: I'm also seeing this:
That would essentially mean the 2025-'26 year is a team option, with a €500K buyout if they declined those options. I can say that those kinds of contracts (with buyout options) are extremely common in American sports, and usually with steeper buyouts. So there are outs in these contracts at the end of this season if they want to move on.
