The management could've kept a younger striker at Inter instead of going for Arnautović. They could've taken Arnautović for a season, half a season with a loan, instead of buying him.
Why would Bologna agree to offer their starting top goalscoring striker on a loan?

Just got the sake of your suggestion, let's assume they would have agreed to loan him to Inter. What do you think it would have costed in loan fee?

Dude looks like a pub-leager out there. Surely Inzaghi can only use him as a bench coach from now on— the guy is missing sitters you would expect any professional footballer to make. A lot of that comes down to the pressure of the meazza I’m sure, but it makes no difference to us. Just promote whoever the best primavera striker is. It doesn’t even matter at this point how ready they are. Arnautovic is a corpse.

Sadly at face value this is our worst set of goalscoring strikers in the primavera for like 15 years. Normally we have at least one kid who is gonna bang 20+ a season, and it doesn't really look like hat atm

Well this was easily predicted. Dude is Ibrahimovic from temu and he carries himself the same even tho he's not even half of Ibrahimovic.
He can't be in the same sentence with Ibra when it comes to football ability.

Wouldn't be Inter if we didn't have a flaming bag of sh*t like this in the club while some of our young players are doing good for other clubs. Typical.
Expensive, old, useless, but hey he has "a lot of minutes of professionnal football" and we need "experience".

In my shit saturday football team if you do some shit like this, you won't hear the end of it until the end of the season.

Tbf Arnaud scored 2x more goals at aerie A level than Pio did at Serie B last year.

No one would have bet on Pio being a 1-in-2 striker this season. Let him develop, so he's Inter ready, not 4th/5th choice at Inter ready

And one of our best young players Carboni broke pretty bad while being away on loan, while 3 bags of uselessness took his place and waste our money while offer close to nothing in return. Brilliant piece of business.

Club considered it better for Carboni to play in Marseille. Well, shit happened but how is that bad injury anyone's fault really? It's just bad luck, like Buchanan's injury.

Just a personal perception but I think Carboni could turn into a secondary striker if coach and player are willing to work on it. Most people argue he's a winger but from the little i watched him at Marseille i think he's too slow to play on the wing and he's better more centrally.

Regardless if Carboni plays at Inter or not (he probably won't) i think he has more future as an AM than as a winger.

Edit: I also disagree with those who believe he could play in Mkhi's role. He is too "delicate" (to put it mildly) to play in midfield.

No way Carboni can play in mezzala role yeah. Way too offensive minded, and also soft.

Carboni can have a future at Inter, but he needs first team football somewhere first.

The decline of this dude is just unreal, else he would be at least useful, I guess his injury in the first year doesn't help, cause after that I don't even think I saw him try to do some explosive burst, which was also what caused his injury, but his injury during the last year at Bologna was also kinda a warning.

I kind of agree with you tbh, but reading explosive burst made me laugh, the only time Arnautovic is explosive is when he has diarrhea.

He was never good in the first place. Some of the bullshit I read on this thread hurts my eyes.

Lol I should stand corrected, at least attempt in short burst, where you see he tries to sudden accelerate, if the wordings make it better, it is not to say he is super fast.

It is appalling we spent 10 M for an awful old player and yet he is still regressing. I can't imagine how terrible he will be and thank heaven his contract ends this June. He has no place here and I am all for the Primavera player to replace him. I cannot believe we do not have a young player who is better than Arna who moves like a Sunday league player. At worst, even if he is a terrible young player, we could at least add his selling value while playing Arna doesn't offer any benefit.
