Can't believe what I'm reading here. Comparing Pandev to Balotelli IS laughable. There is a reason why the treble winning coach keeps playing Pandev. And there's a reason why he succeeded in doing that.

There IS a reason by Mourinho didn't play Balotelli, and there IS a reason why Mourinho played Pandev again and again.

And the reason is to win the Scudetto, the Coppa and most importantly, THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

I know it hurts Balotelli fans a lot but really, they should try figure out WHY Mourinho played Pandev much more than Balotelli. Winning the Champions League proves Mourinho was right.

Wrong...We won the Champions League because we had a superhuman striker named Diego Milito up top. You guys really need to stop praising Pandev just because you do not like Mario's attitude...it is beginning to make you look like you haven't a clue about football...

In the final, Pandev did more harm than good. We won CL because of our center back partnership, a brilliant play maker and a lethal striker. All the other roles helped our cause of course, but none were VITAL...I just don't get how you can argue with numbers. In the Serie A, we won more games WITHOUT Pandev than with him and also won more games WITH Balotelli than without him...If he was such a VITAL piece of our team, these stats simply would not be this way...

God, I actually like Pandev but some of you guys are making me hate him!

Ok, my oppinion about this issue...

I dont want to compare any player.. Especially not Mario and Goran, since they are TOTALLY different type of players, totally different characters. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages as players.

In terms of quality, there is no doubt Balotelli is better. In fact, he is better than all our strikers. However, as people said, there was a reason Jose played pandev instead of balotelli. He is more versatile and has MUCH better tactical awareness, which was crucial for Joses tactics... As i said, overall, Balotelli is better, but not always the best are in advantage, there is much more than individual quality in football. Who claims the opposite is igrnorant imho..

So, it is really stupid to argue who is better and why is better. Just going into circles, argues between the two "sides" which will never end, no way Pandev defenders will change the mind of the balotelli defenders and opposite. So IMHO there's no point of comapring and discussing on this issue.

As for the balotellis future... Hmmm, really undecided. I dont like him as character, i think no one does. However, he has potential, he has quality to be one of the best. I know it is a gamble to keep him, but as every gamble, i think it might be worth in the end. I think our management should give him one more year, to see how it works unter our new manager... Maybe rafa will be the one that can turn him over, so who knows what will happen... On the other side, getting lets say 30+ mils is tempting of course, i just dont know who will replace him.. I say, lets keep him one more year, and see what happens...

You know people kept making jokes about Pandev's slowness, but on the pitch I don't even see much difference of their speed (just sayin').^^ I think some may know why it leads to this impression.

I still dont understand how Pandev was 'vital' lmao. He was our worst player in almost every game, go check Gazzetta ratings AFTER the 2nd Milan derby to see how vital he was. Very very average.

I dont hate Pandev and think he can be a very useful sub, but to say he's vital and more important to this team than Balotelli makes me laugh.
