Our most dynamic player up front in years. Pace dribbling passing etc. he’s become our 2022 Leao where he just creates things out of thin air.

He's simply irreplaceable at the moment. There's huge gap between him and bench options.
Having him healthy and playing regulary will be key for the rest of the season.

Forza Marcus!

France Superstar Reveals Secret Behind Inter Success: “We All Love Spending Time Together”

We’re happy,” Thuram replied when asked about his relationship with Lautaro. “Scoring is always important, but if we both manage to do it, it’s even better.”

Furthermore, the Frenchman insists his Argentine clubmate has never let the scoring drought get to him.

“He’s never been nervous,” Thuram added. “He’s our captain and has been leading Inter since the start of the season.”

The 27-year-old went on to praise Lautaro’s leadership skills.

“He’s a leader, and it’s great to see him scoring again, but he wasn’t nervous.”

Despite losing their grip on Supercoppa Italiana glory, Simone Inzaghi and his men are brimming with confidence.

“The secret of Inter is that we all love being together, and you can see that on the pitch,” Thuram explained. “We’re real friends.

He also insists the Nerazzurri are not interested in seeking excuses for trailing Napoli in Serie A.

Last year, we won while playing in the Champions League, so I don’t think it’s an excuse.
“The important thing is that when we step on the pitch, we’re fresh and ready to take the three points.”

Thuram confirms Napoli’s lead at the table’s summit doesn’t faze Inter.

No, it doesn’t change anything whether someone is ahead or behind. We play to win.”

The ex-Borussia Monchengladbach ace is equally keen to score in every competition.

“There’s very little difference; only against Leverkusen did we fail to score. The important thing is to win.”

Finally, he joked about his media appearances:

Asked whether he keeps a serious face because he doesn’t like journalists, Thuram replied: “It’s because you’re dangerous.”
Spoken like a true champion!

Hope he values this relationship with his m8s and stays as long as possible.

How did he become this good? Last season, he was phenomenal, and as many of us here pointed out at the time, he not only surpassed all expectations but went above and beyond, and then some more. But he somehow just keeps getting better and better.

MEGA, ULTRA DISCLAIMER: I’m not comparing him to Ronaldinho, but as Pimpin mentioned, he plays with such joy and effortless freedom, a kind you usually only see in kids who have nothing to lose. This style suits him perfectly and complements his game so well.

I just saw that back when we signed him I voted "4. Below average, not a disaster, but it would be better if we didnt sign him in the first place" :yao:

Terrified some EPL club is going to come poach him in the summer.
Tbh I'm not. He recently said currently he wouldn't trigger his release clause if an offer came in, the only way he would leave ATM is if inter asked him to.

He is incredible. I see glimpses of Thierry Henry in the way he plays (minus the clinical finishing). In that sense, he's like a Semi Perfect Henry.

Devastating first touches, strides, and pace. If only he was more clinical, he would be a world beater. He's already a great player and I can only see him getting better.

He wants to model his game after Henry, i dont really think there are more similarities than there are with alot of other players though.

Henry had far better ball control and dribbling ability than Thuram will ever have, not to mention Henry's trademark move of cutting inside and curling it into the far corner is not really something we have seen from Thuram.

I'll just say he didn't have this much space against some other opposition and he performed worse there. So I'll have to see him try to play like this against some tougher defences like Napoli.

Huge, never gives up. He is so important for us now. Had my doubts about his consistency since he was so on and off with Gladbach but he seems to consistenly turn up now. Very few off days.
