Some also don't understand that the club and owners are not the same and you don't need to "defend the club" cause of some stupid decisions by their owners.

We did him dirty by forcing him to go from where he was comfortable (I don't care how much money he gets from that) and now when player is pissed we are acting again like it's all on him.

Imo relationship between an important player and a club will always spill over from the contract into other areas. Who knows what they promised him when he renwed. I'm pretty sure he liked being at Inter until this. That kind of relationship is rarely "you are getting paid, stfu" imo

It really makes no sense to venture into a sale without getting such an important player on board with club's plan and necessities. I have never been involved in such high stakes negotiations, so maybe there is a downside to it, I just don't see it here.

1. Offer made to club for 23 million agreed by both parties.

2. Negotiations commence with player and agreement is reached.

3. Saudi club turns around and makes a reduced transfer fee offer, which is rejected.

4. Saudi club raises the their reduced offer by 2 million



This is ridiculous and Marotta should not budge.
