Let's hope so. Honestly I don't get how can people write Inter off so easily. Brozo-Hakan-Barella midfield has too much quality. I'm not even going further because let's see what the pitch has to say but I have so much confidence in our boys.

I love Brozo but Kovačić is now better player and I would take him in a heart beat. But he is probably going to City.

Kovacic has never been a better player than Brozovic. Even as a DM, Brozo does more in the attack than Kovacic. I said it before and I'll say it again, Kovacic's best season was his last season at Inter. Since then he only shown flashes of what he could have been, but never showed his full potential. Can he do it at City? Lets see.

I'm with @IM21 here. Kova has never reached his true potential despite showing flashes of brilliance. Brozo on another note has been consistent, he's a lot more matured in the game and doesn't usually rush into things. They are different players but Brozo's impact is far superior to Kovacic's to their respective teams, and also in NT as well.

Lol did you watch Kova in Chelsea last few seasons? He was best croatian midfielder(better than Modrić yes) in last world cup and in start of Qualifications for Euro. Pep wants him now and we know how good you need to be for Pep and City to reach for you.

No, just no, he’s never established starter at Chelsea and if there’s anyone claiming better midfielder in Croatia team than Modric it would be Brozovic. He would never start without Kante/Jorginho/Enzo, he is same place as he was at Inter who can drive the ball forward but never have consistent killer final pass. He is not the man dictating tempo of the match like Modric. Mkhi is the man he can compare to.

I like Kova and was not very happy with his sale, but I agree with the rest of people. He never reached the level many of us expected him to reach. Perhaps we overrated him in the first place and had too much expectations based on the flashes of brilliance he showed here and there.

I thought you disliked Kova and his efforts for Croatia a few years ago, when you joined the forum.
